Hi, @Tim_Shih ,
I take 'XMC1300_Blinky' as an example. When I finished coding the file 'main.c', I can use 'Build selected file' function to check if there is any programming error in this file.
If there is no programming error in the file, the compilation is completed(the * sign in front of 'main.c' disappears); if there is a programming error, the error mark will be displayed on the error line.

Hey @Tim_Shih ,
Do you observe any pop-ups or error messages while you perform the build selected files action?
Do you observe any logs in the console?
Regards,
Nikhil
