Hey!
I want to run a 36 V BLDC motor with peak current at 11 A. Do you have any evaluation board that contains both the microcontroller as well as the half bridge? I want to implement FOC.

Hello @cw2611 ,
Currently, we do not have a complete solution ( controller + inverter (and) PFC ) for driving the BLDC motor with the above mentioned specifications.
However, the following are the evaluation boards other than/along with the already mentioned boards in the thread which can be added to aid your design.
- kit_xmc4400_dc_v1
- kit_xmc1300_dc_v1
- kit_xmc750watt_mc_ak_v1
- eval_tolt_dc48v_3kw
- kit_xmc13_boot_001
- kit_xmc14_boot_001

Hello @cw2611 ,
Can you please let us know the following information, along with the XMC controller you might want to prefer :
1. DC Bus Voltage Range
2. Maximum continuous output current (at lowest inout voltage, max torque, etc)
3. Starting current
4. Application for which you need the design.
We have KIT_MOTOR_DC_250W_24V to suggest for now, which can use the XMC cards KIT_XMC1300_DC_V1, KIT_XMC1400_DC_V1, KIT_XMC4400_DC_V1.
Kindly let us know the details and also if these boards work out for you.

The "Kit Motor DC 250W" board won't support your 36V 11A motor at full output. As the name says, it's a 250W board. This board will work if you keep the current below the board's limit.
I don't believe Infineon has a motor control board in between their 250W and 750W boards. The 750W board probably isn't a good fit for your application since the minimum Vdc it supports is over 100V.

1. DC Bus Voltage Range: 36V to 50V
2. Maximum continuous output current: 8A
