Hello 🙂
I just have seen that the BCM5241XA1KMLG Ethernet transceiver used in the KIT_XMC48_RELAX_ECAT_V1 is discontinued.
Is there any recommendation from Infineon for a replacement if we start a new design?
Thanks in advance 🙂
Chris

Hi Chris,
Ideally the recommendation is to replace it with broadcom phy (BCM5241XA1KMLG) part if you have access to it.
You can find recommended PHYs in the following appnote from Beckhoff: PHY selection guide
But we do not guarantee that you can replace the phy and get it working without any additional changes as its not tested.
Best Regards,
Vasanth
