Typically I buy the biggest flash version there is. But getting any parts is a night mare.
In particular, XMC1302 (for now). Typically a 200kb flash version
I have a simple project that show text = 23512. What size part can I fit this in?
What can I do to "shrink" it?
I did do an optimize for size and text came down to 12936, but I haven't tested that.
I looking for recommendations and how to map text (or other) size into what flash sizes I can use.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
You can check out all the relevant XMC 1300 part numbers along with the flash size, they offer on the page 10 of the datasheet. A 32 Kbytes flash device should be enough to store your project, even without optimisation. You can go for even lower- flash devices but we would suggest you to ensure that the final device you choose, have all the supported pins. Please let us know in case of any further query.
Best Regards,
Aashita
