Hello, I would like to change the BMI value on an XMC1400 from my laptop running Ubuntu. I know you can do it in code but is there a way to do it over USB like using XMCFlasher in Windows?

Hi,
Most of the tools like XMCFlasher and Memtool are windows based. If you have a Segger Jlink, this will be automatically taken care(See https://wiki.segger.com/Infineon_XMC1000 for modifying the script). But this is not applicable in on board Jlinker.
Additionally Jlink Commander has get/set bmi commands which can be used.
Best Regards,
Vasanth
