Hi,

We fabricated some demo boards from the posted EAGLE project, VD_4_CH_CCM_BUCK_LED_01 .

Now we try to program using DAVE and J-Link from XMC1400 Boot Kit.

The programmer never connects to the target, and we cannot find any obvious reason for it.

These boards are professionally assembled, and we checked all relevant solder joints.

The programmer connects to the boot kit, so the ribbon cable is correct.

The board has power.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Solved the problem myself. The chip had the wrong BMI. By using BMI get set function in DAVE I was able to put it in user mode. Fine now.

The BMI configuration of new chips from factory are all configured as ASC. It is a documented behavior.
Although not very reasonable, it should not be called a wrong configuration.

Hi can anyone supply me with the XMC1400 CCM LED Driver Demo software, I stupidly downloaded the hardware files for VD_4_CH_CCM_BUCK_LED_01 and have had some boards made,
then discovered the demo firmware is unavailable
