Does Infineon maintain its own Yocto layer for BT/WLAN chips? I have now downloaded scripts from Murata's meta-murata-wireless repository, but it is outdated, it has support only up to Zeus (3.0) or Hardknott (3.3).

The Cypress' old Yocto script is also for Zeus, meaning it is also obsolete.

I would need to get Yocto layer for (most preferably) Honister.

Receiving the following error message when I attempt to program my Cypress eval board:

I am attempting to program it with an example project but have been unsuccessful so far.  I am able to see the output of the default "Thermistor" application that the board comes with:

The device manager is showing the WICED UARTS:

When I attempt to run the fw-loader.exe application it does not detect my device:

I am hoping it is something simple related to a driver or something.  Any ideas on what could be going on?

Since "STM32 Connectivity Expansion Pack 1.1.0" did not have an example of BLE scanning function, I am trying to implement scanning based on "ble_wifi_onbording".
The example I referenced to add the scan is "hello_client".

However, the result of p_scan_result, which stores the scan results, is NULL.

What are the possible causes?

I haven't changed the setting value of wiced_bt_cfg_settings from "ble_wifi_onbording", is that the reason?

I was checking the operation waveform of the example with an oscilloscope.

After sending the HCI_RESET command, RTS does not return from High to Low during the response as shown in the figure below, and the response data is interrupted.Is this normal?

What can I do if this is not normal?

Correspondence with each signal.
A0：TX(OUT) / A1：RX(IN) /
Ch1：BT_REG_ON(OUT) / Ch2：RTS(OUT) / Ch3：CTS(IN)

Hi,

I'm try to develope new feature that needs to use multi advertise for different advertising data at each instance.

According to API description, before start multi advertisements, it needs to configure advertise parameters and data.

But after these data are configured and start advertisements, I can't scanned the BLE advertising packet from my device.

The paremeters are using the setting described at function declaration of "wiced_set_multi_advertisement_params"; The advertise data just include complete name.

Is there any configuration that I missed?

I am using CYW20706 as Central role to do the scanning.

when scan result callback I turn off scanning and initiate a connection by callback parameter.

scanResultCb(parameter)

{

wiced_bt_ble_scan( BTM_BLE_SCAN_TYPE_NONE, WICED_FALSE, scanResultCb );

return_value = wiced_bt_gatt_le_connect( p_scan_result->remote_bd_addr, p_scan_result->ble_addr_type, BLE_CONN_MODE_HIGH_DUTY, TRUE );

but I got the return_value  as FALSE very often, 

I keep scanning  after lots of return FALSE it can get return TRUE and connect successfully in sometimes.

Is there any reason why connect fail return FALSE?

The CYW4373 datasheet contains notes on power-on, but I can't find it on power-off.
Is it okay to think that I don't have to worry about it?
