Hi, I'm looking for an electronic schematic or an application note for an infra-red remote control interface between two slot-cars and their hand controllers. It can be bluetooth, infra-red, 433MHz, or RF. It must be proporcionally linear, not simply on/off. The two hand controllers must be fully independent, operating in two different frequencies or channels.

Having already worked with the TI launchpads, I expected to find a thorough several-hundred page technical reference on how the MCU in the CYBLE-013025 really works, e.g. how the devices are memory mapped into the address space, the exception model, ... . Sadly, all I could find is a brief datasheet about the module which then states that the actual silicon is a CYW20737. I couldn't find any technical reference for that MCU either! Curiously, documents in sufficient detail seem to be available for the PSoC line of chips, which makes me believe that there must also be some technical reference for the CYW20737!
Hence, my question(s):
- Where can I find the technical reference for the CYW20737?
- If no such documents exist, how is one supposed to find out about all the intricacies of the MCU?
We are using the CYW20721B2 and looking to fine tune our carrier frequency. I heard this is done, by Cypress for this part?
I may not be asking this correctly.
Other parts we use, we can set registers to select small capacitor value increments to set the carrier frequency. Not sure with this part how that is done.

I am interested in the CYALKIT-E02 and the CYALKIT-E03 5 pack.
I won't need the temperature or humidity features at all. I would like to use these beacons as eddystone devices to continuously broadcast various URL's. I am wondering if these beacons will work out of the box as eddystone devices. If not, I'd like to know what it would take to get them to work as such. I see another post in the forums that seems to suggest that eddystone features are not currently working. But I also saw a note mentioning that eddystone support was added recently (in rev. B "April 2017"). If I can get these to work, I anticipate the possibility of needing dozens and eventually into the hundreds of these beacons. Is there software available to update the URL and other parameters? Will I need the E-02 kit? Can I just order the E-03 kits and get them 5 at a time without the need for the E-02 kit? These device will fit my needs beautifully if I can get them to work.Show Less
I have CYALKIT-E02 and CYALKIT-E03. I am trying to understand the length of time for a beacon transmission. That is, the interval that the beacon is advertising. Not the interval between broadcasts, but the interval that the beacon is broadcasting. I need this information to optimize a procedure for beacon scanning.
From the code in the CYALKIT-E02 Solar-Powered BLE Sensor Beacon Reference Design Kit Guide, Doc. No. 002-11317 Rev. *A, I can see the comment (p58), /* When sensor is used, advertise interval is fixed to 10.24s */. Does this mean that the solar powered beacons in CYALKIT-E02 and CYALKIT-E03 will advertise for 10.24s whenever there is enough power to advertise?
I do not have equipment to directly measure the length of the transmission, but some other information about this issue confuses me.
In Table 3-1. Light Level Versus Time Interval, in the document referenced above gives varying duration of intervals, depending upon light level and whether the supercapacitor is fully charged, of 3s-50s. Is this the time interval between transmissions, with all transmissions being 10.24s when they occur?
In section 188.8.131.52 Complete BLE Sensor Beacon Process, in the document referenced above, the trace for BLE Current (4-Green) seems to show a much short duration for the advertisement.
Does the duration of the transmission depend on whether the beacon is in Demo or Timer mode?
