Hi,
MTB stands for Modus Toolbox and is an IDE that lets you develop WiFi and Bluetooth applications with our variety of chipsets. MTB is recommended for newer designs and going forward will have better support. You can know more from the following link -
https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/design-support/tools/sdk/modustoolbox-software/
You can see that the upgraded product for CYW4343W is CYW43439. The link provided all features the chipset supports-
https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/wireless-connectivity/airoc-wi-fi-plus-bluetooth-combos/
I would suggest contacting the local sales to know more about pricing and the right combo as per your application use case.
Thanks
Aditi

Hi,
I checked with the internal team and they have recommended MTB for new designs going forward. WICED is not recommended for newer designs. Also, they've recommended moving to CYW43439 instead of using chip CYW4343W for newer designs.
Is there any specific reason to use CYW4343W with WICED for your application use case?
Thanks
Aditi

We have been using Wiced and CYW4343W for a while purchasing many of them and are familiar with it. Changing sets us back.
We are looking at the CYW4343W for its features and that it supports Bluetooth and wifi, free GPIOs that are not dedicated. Would like more. Does the CYW43439 have same features, Bluetooth/wifi and more GPIOs than CYW4343w.
As mentioned, learning new tool instead of Wiced sets us back. What is MTB? Is this a replacement for WICED?
We need to know the availability of CYW4349 and price.
What is the complete product name to order product?
Thank you
