In Case#00508473, we got the source code for the DHD driver(1.363.125.17) for Android, now we need the wl utility source code that's compatible with the driver code released to us. We are running the driver on Android_p9.0.0_2.0.0 platform that has CYW43455 chip.
Thanks!
Show LessThere is a vulnerability of the HTTPS server where it can be crashed by commercial online website vulnerability scanners. The setup is:
- snip.HTTPS running on a CYW943907AEVAL1F eval board (SDK 6.4)
- port 443 opened up on router to Internet
- using URL redirection service (free at noip.com) to redirect an URL to the port (this URL is entered into the websites, below).
Running concurrent scans from the following online scanners can crash the server (non-responsive):
https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/
https://observatory.mozilla.org/
The problem is exacerbated when I use Firefox to fetch the top page from the server and click it in quick succession while those tests are going on.
Show LessWe are trying (in parallel with other actions) to move forward with the TFTP protocol in order to send data to the cloud.
We found a snip: tftp/ in WICED but we are having issues in sending more than the header... we did not find any way to insert the "file" data, just the file name and some
other protocol data.
Is there anyone that has been able to use this app and could share some light ?
We selected a "Client" and managed to send a PUT udp packet, with the tftp header, but no data - not sure how to use it to send real data.
We will also try to use tftp for Firmware Upgrade OTA but need to understand it first.
Show LessHello,
I have both the test.console and AWS smart_device demos running on my board, an EMW3165 from MXCHIP. With the WiFi in station mode I can connect to my router, get an IP address, and ping in both directions. However, if I start the WiFi in softAP mode, running the internal DHCP server, I'm unable to connect to the board. I can see the softAP from my laptop and my phone, but cannot successfully connect. I've tried both open and WPA2 modes, tried configuring with a static IP address to eliminate DHCP from the equation, all to no avail. If I'm using WPA2 I get a message on my iPhone that the password is incorrect, but I've verified it multiple times, and use very easy strings like "password" and "12345678". If I disable security on the softAP, my iPhone simply says that it's "unable to join the network".
Are there any debug logs I can enable to see what's happening in the WICED v6.4 libraries? Any other suggestions on how to resolve this? Your help would be much appreciated!
Regards,
David
Show LessI am using the gedday or mDNS interface - at least attempting to. I have used the examples that I can find in Wiced 6.1 and also tried it in 6.4. Since there is no source code and only examples that are in different places and not tied together in a meaningful way I am stuck.
I have included snips for both discovery and service add (each run on separate Cypress HW) below. These take place after the apps are up and running - wiced_init and network stack are fully functional, each has obtained a DHCP lease, etc.
I see traffic in wireshark as well as a program called zeroconfServiceBrowser (most of the time it is...touchy - at best). I can also see the traffic from my MacAir every time.
But "Discovery" always returns...
--- mDNS -- Discover try [172] -- result == 4
[ERROR] -- mDNS -- Service Discovery Failed with Error [4]
Any suggestions?
[note to Cypress] having code supported only by a library (no source code) - it is non optimal to return "error" only with no other explanations.

Show LessHi all,
Just started working on this amazing wicked studio environment for ISM43362_M3G_L44 serial to wifi module.
There are example projects given like for Amazone Web Service(AWS) .
May I know what functionalities/steps should I call or follow to successfully connect to google cloud .As I don't want to experiment on existing stack.
Any help is appreciated .Thanks in advance

Show LessHello,
I am using CYW954907AEVAL1F Evaluation Kit with the correspond chipset: wl43909B0.exe
Does WICED supports 40MHz lower and upper sidebands in 5GHz?
When we tried using these commands: "wl43909B0.exe --serial X chanspec -c 38 -b 5 -w 40 -s 1
wl43909B0.exe --serial X 5g_rate -h 2 -b 40" ,
the Spectrum Analyzer shows the same plot with the same center frequency, not the upper sideband .
Best Regards,
Ana

Show LessHi
I'm working with a Cortex M33 from STMicroelectronics.
I need to :
- port FreeRTOS 10.2 to WICED6.4
- port Cortex M33 Architecture
- port STM32L5xx Drivers / Peripherals HAL.
Is there a guideline that I can follow to do the porting or even better, an existing porting for CortexM33 ?
