Wi-Fi Combo Forum Discussions
Hi Team,
Currently , i am using Wiced studio 6.2/4 with Murata type 1LD module ( CYW43438 ).
While i try to connect to local AMQP server ( 0.9 without security ), it always fails, even though RabbitMQ AMQP server runs successfully.
App folder :- Snip-> amqp->amqpv0_9
Not sure, what is the exact problem. Attached below screenshot.
Thanks.
Show LessHi,
I'm doing my first steps in the wiced environment and encounter a very disturbing issue:
After every operation clean/build/download etc. I get the ide halted for pretty long time saying "Refreshing resource tree..."
IS it mandatory? Can it be worked around?
I tried to reinstall java and remove the build logging in project properties to no avail....
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

Hello,
I want to use CYW43907 to fulfill the requirement of WiFi sniffing.
Can Wiced SDK provide me below data? I also need beacon frames.

For the first column:
D = a device
C = is a device that is connected to an access point
(this output is not showing the mac address of the connected
access point, but we do capture it)
A = an access point
R = This a a device that is randomising its’ mac
address, but we can track it despite this.
DD = Device density. This is a count of the top number
of device manufactures (based on the OUI) we are interested in.
The example data set is reporting that (in the previous 60 seconds)
it detected 8 Apple devices.
AB = Access point density. As DD, but for access
points.
Columns 2 and 3 are the OUI and Address that make up the mac
address
Column 4 shows the human-readable manufacturer of a device that
has a identifiable OUI (we are only tracking a limited number of
OUIs due to memory limitations of the ESP2866 chip)
Column 5 is the (average) RSSI of the device in the scanning
window (15 seconds in this output)
Column 6 is a human-readable estimate of the distance range of the
device in meters.
Column 7 is the start time that we saw the device
Column 8 is the last time that we saw the device
Show LessWPA2-PSK security type PTK reinstallation in 4-way handshake using the same ANonce is succeeding when trying KRACKs. The understanding is for the WPA/WPA2-PSK the offloaded wpa_supplicant is doing the 4-way handshake with the Access Point. Could you please help us to understand how this 4-way hadhake is happening in the cypress chipset CYW4373. Why is the cypress chipset reconnecting with Access point when AP sends same ANonce message in the security vulnerability. Is there any setting we need to do to avoid key re-installation of same ANonce or Random ANonce in the chipset. In Linux OS it rejects same ANonce but in Vxworks It is accepting and reconnecting to AP.
Show LessHi,
I'm wondering if the WICED devices are impacted by the kr00k vulnerability or not.

If yes, can you provide fixes ASAP?
Show LessHi All,
1.
How is the support status about "transfer-encoding:chunked" with WiCED6.2.1 ?
The following source code has a comment.
// TODO: Implement code to handle chunked encoding response.
It seems that "chunked encoding response" is not implemented.
43xxx_Wi-Fi\libraries\protocols\HTTP_client\http_client.c
https://community.cypress.com/message/163771#163771
2.
WiCED 6.2.1 check "transfer-encoding:chunked" with HTTP header and BODY.
I think that "transfer-encoding:chunked" checking should be performed on HTTP header alone.
Is my understanding correct ?

Show LessI can only run UDP with iperf and LWIP in SDK 6.2.1. If i attempt to run TCP mode, the system crashes with an assert in the network stack:
CYW43907
Function: low_level_output
Line: 202
Thread: tcpip_thread
LWIP_ASSERT( "No chained buffers", ( ( p->next == NULL ) && ( ( p->tot_len == p->len ) ) ) );
Any ideas for a fix to allow TCP and lwip?
With UDP, the transmit buffer is limited to 4.28KB which appears to negatively impact the throuhhput result but I cannot change it with the -w arugment so i guess it is based on a LWIP configuration? Anyone know where to change this?
Show LessDear all,
We are facing Kernel crash issue when using the manufacturing test firmware (fw_bcmdhd_mfgtest.bin) on a NXP i.MX 6ULL with Murata LBEE5KL1DX-883 wifi module.
The kernel module loads fine, but when we try to bring the wireless interface up (ifconfig wlan0 up) we get a kernel crash.
we are at kernel version 4.1.15
I am attaching logs here for crash.
Show LessHi all.
I'm looking for documentations such as porting guide, WLAN / BT driver / application SW for Murata LBEE6ZZ1PD Module using Cypress CYW89359 .
Development environment is below:
- freescale i.mx8qxp AP
- yocto distritution based on linux 4.14.98
- SDIO interface between AP and WLAN / BT combo module
Are available these information in some sections of this community?
Thank in advance for the response.
Best regards.
