I have the CYW943907AEVAL on hand, And want to test the throughput between WiFi direct(P2P) and STA (connect to wifi router) mode. Is there any exist code or result base on TCP/IP?
Or in principle, which mode is faster for data transmission?
Show LessI am running my application, and under certain conditions where a quick barrage of TCP packets is received, something starts consuming CPU cycles in a very big way. Because the main() loop slows down, I presume that a higher priority thread(s) is consuming the CPU time.
Other than using a debugger (which I don't have), are there any utilities that I could build in that might help determine where the CPU is spending all its cycles? Thanks!
Show LessGreetings,
I am new to WICED, but I have a more or less fundamental problem that have been puzzling my colleague (who already had some experience with WICED) and me already for some time.
So, I installed the same version as WICED as my colleague. He gave me his project files. After having been programmed, the device keeps power cycling. When my colleague re-programs it, the device is fine. The same issue happens with other devices of the same kind. Installing an older version of WICED didn't help either. I installed WICED on another machine (with full administrating rights), the issue with power cycling remained.
I would appreciate any suggestions on what else we could look into or ways to troubleshoot!
Best,
kauerbach
Show LessWhen I run the installer based on the instructions here: WICED-Studio 6.4.0 Installer (Linux)
I get

What extra prerequisite JRE libraries should I install on Raspbian Buster?
(The default JRE package says "This dependency package points to the Java runtime, or Java compatible runtime recommended for this architecture, which is openjdk-11-jre for armhf." but the installer instructions say JRE > 9 is not supported)

Show LessDear Sir or Madame,
we have a question regarding your CYW43438_WLAN / Bluetooth Chip:
Is there an FCC-ID oder IC-ID grant for this chip, or has there been any further radio equipment country approvals?
I could not find anything regarding this on your homepage.
If there are FCC-and IC- grants, could you please sent them to me?
Does this chip incorporates an internal antenna?
Thank you very much for your response! best regards, - Drew
Show LessHi,
We are working on a solution using Murata M.2 1DX Module (CYW4343) and we would like to know if is it possiible to use it as BT A2DP Source.
We have checked the watch demo example in the Wiced SDK (v6.4) and tried to build a custom solution based on this. But we found problems related to libwicedble.a when trying to call some api functions, as if they where not defined. Is this library limited for some reason? Is it posible to use the CYW4343 as A2DP Source?
Thank you
Show LessWe have a customer whose product is based on a BCM4290 Wi-Fi SoC running WICED 3.1.2. They were setting the country code to WICED_COUNTRY_WORLD_WIDE_XX, and shipping units to the Middle East.
They recently upgraded to WICED 3.7.0, and found that channels 12 and 13 were no longer operating with that country code, and their units in the Middle East failed to connect to access points on those channels.
The questions we have are:
- Can you confirm the change in this country code between these two versions, and explain the reason for the change?
- What country code setting should our customer be setting in WICED 3.7.0 for Middle Eastern regions?
Thanks in advance.
Show LessI am evaluating psoc 6 with the CY8CKIT-062-WiFi-BT. My needs are wifi, bluetooth, and both cores. I am using wiced studio. I have completed almost all the online courses in wiced wifi 101 and still have not came across any mention of the dual cores in psoc 6.
How does wiced studio accommodate the dual cores of psoc 6?
