I tried to test a release of the WICED SDK. But build error occurred while compiling the SDK. I attached error log, could you let me know why this happened to?

Show LessWe are trying to integrate a BCM43362 (in a Murata SN8000 module) into an existing design. This is a mature product with an existing RTOS and TCP/IP stack. We just want to add WiFi capability to the product. We'd like to use the WICED stack since it would be crazy for us to develop our own 802.11 protocol stack. At the lowest level, we need to modify the WICED stack to use our processor's SPI interface. At the highest level, we need to route network traffic to/from our TCP/IP stack through the WICED 802.11 stack. Is there a roadmap for such a development path?
The WICED software stack diagram makes it look like this is possible - connect our SPI driver to the platform HAL and incorporate the WWD layer into our design. However, looking at a diagram and pulling in source code modules are two different things. Has anyone done this? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Stuart
Show LessHello,
Can I use BCM9WCDPLUS114 to post twitter through twitter web page API?

Hi,
Does anyone know what is the easier solution to obtain public IP address from WICED? is it possible? or I have to rely on third party web services? thanks!

Aaron
Show LessI've found this within the sdk documentation :
* To use Apple MFi iAP:
* 1. Contact Apple to obtain the iAP library.
* The iAP library is available to current Apple MFi licensees ONLY.
* Information about MFi is available from the Apple website at
* https://developer.apple.com/programs/mfi/
* 2. Drop the iAP library into the WICED SDK per the instructions provided by Apple
We've recently licensed MFi; can you give me some more information to use it within the Wiced SDK?
Best regards
Hugo
Greetings,
I am using an evaluation board with the Murata SN8200. I want to run the snip.scan application. I have renamed the file on the make target tab to snip.scan-BCM943362WCD2-debug download because the SN8200 uses the BCM943362WCD2 platform. When I am debugging the application i am getting the following Error:
No source available for "_tx_thread_system_return() at 0x...."
The problem is in the wiced_management_wifi_on() function. To be more specific the program crushes when it tries to successful run the wiced_bus_init() function wich is within the wiced_management_wifi_on(). The debugger is not easy to follow, so i do not understand at which point of the wiced_bus_init() function, the error pops up. I have changed the country code to Ireland as well because it was USA.
Best Regards,
Asterios
Show Lesshi, can anyone help me finding WICED SDK for OS X? All i can find is an installer for Windows, can`t find any .pkg file for Mac.
I would really appreciate your help. Thanks
Show LessWICED can support:
- WPS using PIN or PBC mode
- Soft AP mode
- Wi-Fi Direct
- And, an exclusive to WICED, out-of-band setup process called “Cooee”
The SDK has example apps:
- Snip.wps_enrollee
- Snip.wps_registrar
- Snip.config_mode
- Snip.easy_setup (Cooee)
- Snip.p2p
This discussion will be updated as new documentation and information becomes available.
hi,
I'm new here and would appreciate some good advice on how to download and debug the FW on sn8200.
from reading the forum i have learned the following steps are needed:
build using BCM943362WCD2-debug download JTAG=jlink
so far I always get the **** OpenOCD failed - ...
jlink is installed correctly and works fine in IAR.
Thanks
Martin
