TCP Server + softAP

This application uses two ACKme modules each running WiConnect, a serial API that sits on top of WICED, to demonstrate how to create a TCP server + softAP.

Module 1 is a server configured to start the softAP interface and the TCP server feature on boot up.

Module 2 is a client configured to use the wlan interface and the TCP client feature to connect to the Module 1 softAP and TCP server.

Module 1 - TCP Server Settings

set softap.auto_start           true

Is there a way to perform HTTP authentication with WICED?  This is the authentication method that relies on .htaccess and .htpasswd files.

What to do if OpenOCD failed when downloading the bootloader, application, or DCT?

I was trying to use the readme-MXCHIP example.

and  the sentence is:           make snip.scan-MXCHIP3162-FreeRTOS-LwIP download run

I have installed the MXCHIP3162 atch and the stlinkv2 patch.

But the result of running the sentence above is always "OpenOCD failed" when Downloading Bootloader, Downloading Application, and Downloading DCT

Please help me

Following our previous post that discusses How does WiConnect offer TCP client capability?, we have expanded the question to ask...

Does WiConnect support multiple TCP clients?

...and the answer is YES!

WiConnect sits on top of WICED and the following example shows how to use it to allow multiple TCP clients.

This example uses one ACKme eval board and the ACKme 'WiConnect' serial API.

Multiple TCP Clients

This application uses the WiConnect TCP client command to open 4 simultaneous TCP connections to a TCP echo server on the internet (WiConnect actually currently supports up to 8 simultaneous connections!).

The TCP echo server, located on the internet at test.ack.me:50007, simply echoes all received data back to the WiConnect TCP client. Once each connection is established, stream_write is used to send data to each connection stream in turn. With all data sent,stream_poll is used to check for received data on connection streams, and stream_read is used to read data waiting on a stream.
