Show LessI am using Wiced SDK 2.4.1 on two SN8200 eval boards.
I am trying to get one board to connect to the other using WPS push button mode, but it doesn't seem to work. I load the wps_enrollee snip on one module, and the wps_registrar snip on the other without modification to the snips. I then restart them at the same time and get the output below. This should work, correct?

I have been using the config_mode snip as a pattern for building my own application. Unfortunately, I can't get config_mode to work the way it is supposed to. Upon entering a password and joining a network on scan_page_outer.html, the thing never actually connects to the router.
I have been able to get it to connect to the router using demo.appliance, so I know it's possible.
Can someone confirm that snip.config_mode either works or is broken when connecting to an access point using the scan method?
I'm using 2.4.1.
Show LessHi,
43362 may crash(can't RX/TX packets, can't response any SDIO command, without any OOB interrupt) in bellow two situtaion:
1. WICED is configured as STA mode. Send UDP pakcet to WICED very quickly(1 packet per millisecond), after a while, 43362 will dead. It doesn't response any command and can't RX/TX any packet. I think the root cause is the MCU can't read out wifi packet from 43362 timely, 43362 use out all memory and stop working. How about just drop new packets when there are too many packets buffered?
2. If there are no RX buffer, the packet read function wiced_read_frame will do wiced_abort_read( WICED_FALSE ). If this situation continues for a while. 43362 will dead. You can simulate this issue like this: Hold all RX buffer, and send wifi packet to 43362. Wait for a while, you can reproduce this issue.
Show LessHi,
I remember that I have seen some post mentioned that sdk3.1 is supposed to be
released on early August. But the SDK seems not release yet.
I'm currently using sdk3.0.1, but there are some major issues need fix.
1. It does not support OTA for BCM94390WCD1.
This is a must have feature for our product.
So I would like to know will this be supported in sdk3.1?
2. With sdk3.0.1, I got download DCT failure on Linux.
I have reported this issue on http://community.broadcom.com/message/5547#5547
but no feedback so far.
It's important to get this fix as we mainly develop on Linux environment.
Will this be fixed in sdk3.1?
Can someone help to answer above questions and also provide the schedule about
sdk3.1 release? This is important for us to plan the schedule for our products.
Thanks.
Show LessWe are using "wiced_wifi_enable_powersave_with_throughput" which works great. But our deployment engineers would like to know what kind of power save that is. We know that "wiced_wifi_enable_powersave" triggers legacy 802.11 PS-Poll, but we don't know what the other power save method used. Is it an implementation that uses DTIMs? Or something else?
Show LessHi, I've two questions about UDP. I use snip.UDP_transmit example with an UDP frame of 80bytes length in broadcast. Sometimes when I send one frame in STATION connection I see several same frame sended in same time (in AP mode and unicast, I send one frame, i've got one frame in sniffer). Other question, I would like send a frame every 10ms, is-it possible ? because for the moment I can't go below 50ms. I've got "UDP packet send failed" if I put 10ms.

Show LessHi,
This is to report WPS issues on LwIP.
Testing on 3.0.1 SDK.
Build with "test.console-FreeRTOS-LwIP-BCM943362WCD4 download run", then
WPS test looks OK.
Build with "test.console-FreeRTOS-LwIP-BCM943362WCD4 download run", then
WPS PBC and PIN modes test always fails.
