Hi,
Im just starting with WICED
chip using:BCM43362
microcontroller:STM32f407zg
SDK:WICED 3.1.0
want to port WICED SDK to Keil Environment for this particular controller and chip with FreeRTOS and Lwip Stack.
Successfully ported FreeRTOS and Lwip stack in the SDK to the Environment.
found that "generated_mac_address.txt" and "43362A2_bin.c" is created at time of build.
Adding the file -"43362A2_bin.c" and defines in the text file to the project, is the right way to go?
Should bootloader, dct and application should be treated as separate projects? If so which files are the mutually exclusive for each of them?and which files should be included in all 3 of them?
Show LessDear.
in WICED 2.4.1
P2P and Phone connected
but not disconnected event
P2P and Phone Do not re-connect
I should Updated to WICED 3.1.0 from WICED 2.4.1
Our final goal is WICED 3.1.1
I used is BCM9WCDUSI09 platform
WICED 3.1.0 does not BCM9WCDUSI09 platfororm
we want to use is:
(WICED 3.1.0) test.console-BCM9WCDUSI09 download run
1) why not BCM9WCDUSI09 platfororm ?
2) We will be sure to use the p2p. Please inform us if any suggestions ?
Thanks for the support.
Show LessHi @ all,
I'm going to use the SN8000 together with the SDK 3.0.1, AP and STA will be active at the same time. For both interfaces I'm going setup an own MAC address. In the API (wwd_wifi.h) I've seen wwd_wifi_set_mac_address(). But this function has no parameter like WWD_STA_INTERFACE or WWD_AP_INTERFACE.
Is there any option (or separate API) to setup different MAC addresses for AP and STA?
Thanks for helping,
Jan Gottwald

Show LessHi,
Test with SDK-3.1.0 + FreeRTOS build on BCM4390.
Simply test ping_webserver application without any modification.
Open a browser connect to the device and quickly pressing F5 key for about 30 times.
(just quickly press F5 until the browser cannot properly show the web page).
Close the browser and reopen the browser to connect to the device.
Sometimes the device is complete dead (ping without response).
Sometimes the device does not response to http request anymore (ping shows device is
still alive).
This is an issue to our application because our web UI will load multiple files
which is similar to the "quickly sending multiple requests" case.
Please take a look at this issue.
Thanks.
Show LessIn the file wiced_p2p.c we modified the wps initialization of p2p_run_as_go in this way:
wps_internal_init( wps_registrar, WICED_AP_INTERFACE, WPS_PIN_MODE, "00000000", &credential, 1 ); |
with this configuration the android device cannot connect, why?
We supposed that using the PIN mode on the android end a PIN popup would have been shown. Is there some other parameters that we should have changed?
Thanks in advance for the support.
Show LessI created a debug target, using the standard scan snippet: snip.scan-BCM9WCDPLUS114-debug download
Compile and download OK.
I then press the green "bug" button, and the IDE switches view.
I set a breakpoint, for example at line 80, and press the pause/continue button. The program runs to that line, printing stuff on the terminal as expected.
However, I don't see the line highlighted, and I cannot step through the code. Pressing the continue button does not run the code.
Pressing the stop button detaches the debugger, and the board then runs free.
What's happening? What is preventing me from debugging?
Note that I can debug using the terminal. The following works, it runs gdb in the terminal and I can step through the code:
./make snip.scan-BCM9WCDPLUS114-debug download debug
Show LessMy application uses wiced_tcp_server_start() to implement a tcp server.
When test build with NetX/NetX_Duo, wiced_tcp_server_start() call in
my tcp server always return WICED_ERROR.
I found if I comment out the code to start http server, then my tcp server runs well.
If I run my tcp server earlier, then http server will fail at wiced_tcp_server_start().
The http server also use wiced_tcp_server_start(), so
It looks like wiced_tcp_server_start() can only be called once on NetX/NetX_Duo.
This issues does not happen on FreeRTOS+LwIP.
Show LessWe are trying to debug a custom design involving a bluetooth smartbridge module (USI BM-GP-BR-65). Is it possible to get the signal level specification for communication with the smartbridge, or at least the signal sequence that should occur when wiced_bt_init is called?
Thanks,
Ben
Show LessCan someone tell me in what context the RX TCP callback is called ( set via wiced_tcp_register_callback). Also is this only available on Lwip and NetXDuo ( not on NetX) ? What are the constraints on the callback if any ?
Thanks

Show LessHi,
First of all I have no issue connecting to any other router except access point from D-Link DSR-500N, so this is about trying to debug why i'm unable to obtain IP address when joining AP from D-Link. I have tried all configurations including radio signal setting, security type, encryption type, etc..... Joining is ok but unable to get the IP address. Note that only WICED (tried with many different EVB) has this issue, I have no problem connecting the same access point from my phone or pc... below is the print message using WICED https_client
Joining : MyTestAp
Successfully joined : MyTestAp
Obtaining IPv4 address via DHCP
Setting IPv6 link-local address
...... Here is where its trying to obtain IP but it couldn't
Resolving IP address of HTTPS server
Server is at 0.0.0.0
Getting '/'...
Server returned
PS. Can anyone help how i'm able to debug this issue from WICED SDK (2.4.1)?
