Hi lionel,
As far i understand, BCM9WCDPLUS114 will be the best choice for apple home kit but is there any BCM9WCDPLUS114 development board, so that i want to buy one of the BCM9WCDPLUS114 development board and start developing program in that board. But i couldnot find any BCM9WCDPLUS114 development board in website.

Show LessHi,
How to configure the access point for field installed units? As the device will not have display, what is the best approach?
Say, my device has a button, after pressing which device will get into a mode in which we can configure AP. Please suggest?
Thanks,
Raghu

Hello,
Does WICED SDK 3.1.2 run on Win8.1?
Does WICED SDK have samples that show how to use HTTP Basic Authentication?
I'm curious as to whether anyone else has evaluated cloud solutions that can be used within the WICED SDK? A lot of solutions require their own hardware modules (Imp, Ayla ...) whereas some solutions provide code for existing WICED platforms to interface to their API, and even manage provisioning and OTA. A few I've been in contact with:
- Ayla - Use modules with their own firmware and a UART or SPI API from a host MCU (an STM32F303 in their e.g.)
- goHackMe (sensors.com) - Using WiConnect - "a front-end API to WICED" and AckMe hardware
- Arrayent - They provided some e.g. code to run in the WICED SDK - see Quick Start Guide | Broadcom WICED DevKit
- Axeda
And then there's also the other end-point type services such as Berg Cloud, Xively, M2X, Carriots, TempoIQ etc.
Has anyone else had further experience with any of these services, or others?
Show LessHi there,
I'm trying to use a Olimex ARM-USB-TINY-H with SN8200 module to upload the demo appliance from WICED SDK 2.4.1.
I'm using the following task:
demo.appliance-SN8200x JTAG=Olimex_ARM-USB-TINY-H download run
Now I'm getting the following console output:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Build complete
Downloading Bootloader ...
Download complete
Downloading Application ...
"**** OpenOCD failed - ensure you have installed the driver from the drivers directory, and that the debugger is not running **** In Linux this may be due to USB access permissions. In a virtual machine it may be due to USB passthrough settings. Check in the task list that another OpenOCD process is not running. Check that you have the correct target and JTAG device plugged in. ****"
Downloading DCT ...
Download complete
Resetting target
Target running
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So it seems that the bootloader and the DCT will be downloaded to the module, but not the Application.
Can anybody tell me what's going wrong here?

Georg
Show LessHi,
Is it possible to send/receive multiple packets per connection event using BCM433, please? We look for a BT LE chip which is capable to transfer 6 packets per connection event with connection interval 7.5 ms, when configured as a central role. The nRF51 chip which we use on the peripheral side is able to send 6 packets with 7.5 ms interval and we're looking for the central now.
Best regards,
Krzysztof Rosiński
Show LessI'm building a product based on WICED SDK(bcm43362 chip), I'd like to known can I use AP mode and STATION mode simultaneously ? STATION used for Internet Connecting, AP used for configuration and build the local network.
Some gentleman help me, TKS!
Show LessUsing 2.4.1, I've run into a situation where a TCP client socket on the STA interface stops sending data after an AP connection is made simultaneously.
Here is the problem in more detail:
On power up, our device connects to the local Wi-Fi and then makes a TCP connection to a cloud service using the STA interface. The connection to the cloud service is maintained in the background while the device is on. In addition, if the user presses a button on the device, the AP interface powers up and starts the http & dns services to allow a user to interact with the device directly through an app. Unfortunately, I have found that as soon as the user connects to the AP interface, the STA hosted TCP connection goes dead. I have traced the traffic on the network and I see that once the AP connection is made, packets go into the STA based TCP port but nothing ever comes back out.
Another odd fact is that everything works properly if the TCP socket is connecting to a host on my local network instead of out on the internet. I don't think it's a DNS issue because I use the same functions to resolve a domain name in either case, I just change the IP address from an internet address to 192.168.1.101 at the DNS server.
It is almost like the act of connecting to the AP interface messes up the TCP socket somehow. Although I don't get any indication that anything is wrong inside the firmware. The wiced_tcp_send_buffer() call returns WICED_SUCCESS even when it's actually failing.
Development is very far along, so I'm not in a position to switch to 3.x.
