Wi-Fi Combo Forum Discussions
Hi
I am using sdk 2.4.0 in linux 32 using Eclipse(Discover wifi sn8200 -BCM43362) .
I have a C code that connects to cloud(TCUP - cloud).
1 . This is the main make file inside TCUP_PC -> makefile folder (C code that connects to cloud)
2. This is the make file inside lib folder (TCUP_PC -> lib -> makefile)
3 . Now i want to include this code inside the WICED sdk 2.4.0 ->apps -> snips -> uart_rxtx (UART Setup and UART Messages Over Webpage ) , so whatever data in uart will send to cloud. To achieve this what are the changes that i have to do ?? i am struggling with this , Could you please help me to solve this ?
4 . i have tried to edit the uart_rxtx.mk file as shown below
But still i am getting
11:31:02 **** Build of configuration Default for project WICED-SDK-2.4.0_SEP14 ****
make snip.uart_rxtx-SN8200x HOST_OS=Linux32

make: *** [main_app] Error 2

(Cloud_Start () -> i have renamed my TCUP_PC C-code main() into this Cloud_Start() fucntion . i did the declaration_Cloud_Start() inside cloud_app.h as extern , and definition inside cloud_app.c , and put #include "cloud_app.h inside uart_rxtx.c )
Thank you.
Show LessWe are trying build a teaching module for programming on embedded systems course using WICED platforms. I would like to know if we are allowed to distribute a virtual box image(ubuntu) containing the WICED SDK and eclipse IDE. Looking forward to your response .Thanks in advance.
Show LessHi

Show LessHi,
In SDK-3.5.2, The ota2_example snip code only valid for ThreadX
VALID_OSNS_COMBOS := ThreadX-NetX ThreadX-NetX_Duo
I think the main problem is the implementation in wiced_ota2_service.c
uses wiced_rtos_init_event_flags related APIs which is not implemented in
LwIP.
Do you have plan to make ota2 work with FreeRTOS+LwIP in next release?

I was trying to implement OTA but it was throwing error as

Also the code is properly burning on the board but when i try to upload the application file(.elf) to the board using OTA server page it throws an error as

I have no idea to solve this issue. Can anybody let me know what should I do?
Show Lessin the page 18 document "Downloading a WICED™ Application Over the Air", it says as follow:
Performing the OTA Download
To download the scan app over the air from the computer to the test platform, perform the following steps:
1. Using the Wi-Fi connection manager on the computer, connect to the Wiced Device access point.
2. On the computer:
