I am using wiced_i2c_init_combined_message functionn n when the build stopped due to linker error? undefined platform_i2c_init_combined_message
The function wiced_i2c_init_combined_message calls platform_i2c_init_combined_message
#if 0
platform_result_t platform_i2c_init_combined_message( platform_i2c_message_t* message, const void* tx_buffer, void* rx_buffer, uint16_t tx_buffer_length, uint16_t rx_buffer_length, uint16_t retries, wiced_bool_t disable_dma )
{
This is undefined for SDK 3.7.3 using 43907 platform, using a know demo board BCM943907WAE2_1.B1
if you uncomment the if 0, it will result in more errors.
My question: is there a problem for the processor to support combined I2C message
Thanks
Show LessHi,
I have questions on whether the following features are supported by the BCM43364?
a. Does the BCM43364 support MIMO?
b. Does the BCM43364 support RMII/MII interface on the system side for the purpose of wireless Ethernet extension?

Show LessI am using the WICED 3.6.2 SDK, and the image size fitting in FLASH has become a concern for us. Upon inspection, it seems like there are these two big modules:
"BTE_LE" 77786 bytes
"WICED_Bluetooth_Low_Energy_Driver_" 34501 bytes
They both add up to 110K+ bytes, and is occupying about 25% of the final image of our app!
We do use BLE, but do we need both of these modules? Do you have any recommendations on how to reduce the footprint of these?
thanks,

Show LessHi,
We are using BCM43362 and BCM4343W module for our project.
We want to send data using wwd_network_send_ethernet_data() routine. This routine has void return type that is it does not return any error. Our requirement is that we do not want to change any code in WICED stack, we want to completely handle errors in application code but wwd_network_send_ethernet_data() routine which is used to send data does not return error, so is there any callback or any way for application to know that sending failed.
Show LessI can't find distributor who sells just the module separate from development board (for spinning onto custom board). Web link would be helpful!

Customer has one requirement to dynamically adjust the value of "conn_min_interval","conn_latency" and "conn_supervision_timeout which belong to the structure wiced_bt_cfg_settings_t.
As I checked their values can be changed by wiced_bt_stack_init() when initialized. But customer wants to dynamically change those values. For example, when the connection is done, how to change their values?
Show LessI have spent many hours developing a product based around a CEL WiFi module. Apparently CEL is getting out of that business. Having taken the time to learn the WICED ways of these Broadcom based modules I would prefer not to switch gears if possible.
I also read some "rumors" that Broadcom / Avago is looking to phase out of the WiFI chip business due to low gross margins. This concerns me as my company is looking for a reliable source of these modules for mass product deployment.
Can anyone recommend a stable replacement and/or comment on the longevity of these parts?
Best regards
Bill
