Please respond to the following questions:

1. Can Wi-Fi modules to provide fast switching between access points with the same SSID? What is the maximum duration of a break in data transmission by TCP when switching between access points when using WPA2-PSK and data flow of about 140 kilobytes per second?

2. Allow the modules to control the communication quality with the access point?

3. Allow the modules to perform background scanning of Wi-Fi networks?

4. Keep the modules TCP connection when switching between access points?

5. Is it possible to know how much data the module is successfully sent via TCP before the connection failed?

6. As modules control the flow of TCP data from host?

7. As the host controls the flow of TCP data from the module?

My question is similar to this one but I would like to build a Wifi to SDIO adapter.

I understand how to send/receive data via TCP/IP. However, I am unsure how to set up and transfer to/from the SDIO interface.

1. How do I specify SDIO (not SPI etc) as the bus interface? I don’t see any bus definition in CYW943907AEVAL1F.mk
2. How do I use the SDIO bus? Do I need to just wiced_init, and run the internal thread? Or do I need to directly use the wwd_bus interface to send/receive?

Here's my schematic. (Big photo see appendix)I try to use AP6234 module (CYW43340 solution) with STM32 in my project.

But when I finish my layout and after manufacture, I met a strange problem:

When I use WICED SDK with snip.scan demo, the AP6234 only scans 2.4G APs.

And I tried to heat the board, and let the module maintain 100℃, now the scan result contains 5G APs.

But When the module cools down, it still only scans 2.4G APs.

I also tried the board called redbear duo:

I moved the module to this board, the AP6234 works fine.

The strangest thing is my schematic is same as redbear-DUO board.

I believe the following pins have pull down;

ACPU_BOOT_MODE

WCPU_BOOT_MODE

GPIO_9(USB_SEL)

GPIO_13(SDIO_MODE)

GPIO_1(GSPI_MODE)

I'm testing the CYW4343W with an Evaluation board supported by wiced studio and 43xxx-WiFi example. I need to develop my application with the WiFi + BLE stack, but I'm still using differente OS (FreeRTOS with a STM32F4) so I can't follow the lesson 2-2 where you create a new project over the example.

My question is... is there a guide that explai how to export the WiFi stack library in another project without the wiced rtos and a lot of references to makefiles ?

Test peap with join_ext command in console debug build test code will always hit assertion.

In peap case, join_ent() calls

wiced_tls_init_identity( &identity, NULL, 0, NULL, 0 );

So it always hit below assertion:

wiced_assert( "Bad args", (identity != NULL) && (private_key != NULL) && (certificate_data != NULL) );

And looking at the implementation in wiced_tls_init_identity:

Below checking looks wrong:

if ( ( certificate_data != NULL ) || ( certificate_length != 0 ) )

if ( ( private_key != NULL ) || ( key_length != 0 ) )

e.g. Pass NULL to private_key with non-zero key_length will hit null pointer dereference.

We are using 4390 in hotspot mode.  I am wondering current SW support auto channel selection feature?

If we turn on the device, it selects the best WiFi AP channels and starting the device on that channel. This is to avoid the interference.
