Hi,
I came across this issue in 3.5.2 which exists in 3.7.0: the strnstr standard library function has been redefined with a different signature. It causes an issue with my existing codebase that uses this method as defined in <bsd/string.h>
include/wiced_utilities.h:
char* strnstr( const char* s, uint16_t s_len, const char* substr, uint16_t substr_len );
Could you please address this in a future patch release ? I can get by commenting it out for the time being, but it's not great having standard library functions redefined differently.
Thanks
Show LessHello,
We have started developing with the Murata LBEE5PA1LD-TEMP with the Cypress/CYW43438 + STMicroelectronics/STM32F412. We would like to connect it to the AWS IoT.
Has anyone tried to do it or can give us support with how to do it.
Thank you
Netanel
Show LessSo I can see that there is support for adding custom IE's to SoftAP mode.
Is there any support for receiving and parsing custom IE's in incoming beacon frames?
Show LessHello - I have successfully downloaded and ran the snip-scan then I changed my debugger and cant back out of it. I get the following error - any help is appreciated and I am not looking for the exact answer as maybe pointing to where I can figure out where I am going wrong. Thank you!

Show LessIs there any one knows how to build 43xxx_Wi-Fi\apps\demo\dual_hf_a2dp for CYW4343W?
Since there is no files for CYW4343W under libraries\drivers\bluetooth\firmware.
I use WICED Studio 6.2
Thanks.
Show LessI tested the time delay functions in the while(1) block of a task. But I found some strange results that are hard to understand. The test are presented as follows:
Environment : WICED6.1+CYW94307+ThreadX
I created two tasks,i.e. task1 and task2, with the same or different priorities. The code of each task is as follows:
void thread1_main( uint32_t arg )
{
uint32_t temp = arg ;
while ( 1 )
{
printf( "This thread 111111\r\n" ) ;
wiced_rtos_delay_milliseconds( 1 ) ;
}
WICED_END_OF_CURRENT_THREAD( ) ;
}
The results are pasted here:
priority set | delay time(in ms) | result |
task1 : 7 , task2 : 7 | 1 or longer | both tasks can run correctly |
task1 : 7 , task2 : 8 | 1 | only task1 can run correctly |
task1 : 7 , task2 : 8 | 2 or longer | both tasks can run correctly |
So, my first question is:
1、When the priorities are set different, why only task1 run correctly when the delay time is 1ms , but both tasks run when the delay time is longer?
Another question is:
2、When I replace wiced_rtos_delay_milliseconds(1) with wiced_rtos_delay_microseconds(1000) or even wiced_rtos_delay_microseconds(1000000) , only the task with higher priority run. Why does not the wiced_rtos_delay_microseconds() function cause task scheduling?
Show LessUsing SDK 3.5.2 with ThreadX on the BCM944343WWCD_1 evaluation module. When I enable mcu powersaving wiced_time_get_utc_time_ms doesn't return accurate numbers and wiced_rtos_delay_milliseconds is not accurate. The attached program connects to wifi, syncs time using SNTP, and then just prints out the time every 10 seconds.
It seems that wiced_platform_mcu_enable_powersave is unusable... Does anyone have any solutions or advice?
Each line of output is timestamped with the current system time.
Example output:

Hi,
originally Broadcom got Bluetooth certificate for BCM4343W (and also for BCM43430 / BCM4343S / BCM43438) via
QD ID 56580 / Declaration ID D022749
https://www.bluetooth.org/tpg/QLI_viewQDL.cfm?qid=22749
having also these details:
Specification Name: 4.1
Core: 4.0 or later
Product type: Component (Tested)
Certification Assessment Date: 2014/May/12
Unfortunately that certification is now going to expire, due to three year limit (AFAIR such rule).
I found that Broadcom has also newer certification:
https://www.bluetooth.org/tpg/QLI_viewQDL.cfm?qid=27844
Declaration ID D027844
QD ID 80065
Qualification Assessment Date January/29/2016
but that is for BCM4343 / BCM43430 / BCM43436. BCM4343W is not exactly mentioned with it.
Thus my question;
a. does that newer certificate with declaration ID 27844 cover also 4343W?
OR
b. is there any other new certificate that is valid also for 4343W?
Thanks!
Show LessIf yes, do you have any example to use it?
If no, do you have plan to support it?
