What are the key differences between OTA and OTA2 in WICED?
Do either allow partial update - WiFi Stack only / BLE Stack only / User Application only?
Do both provide ability for code verification?
Are all WICED radios supported by one or the other OTA or OTA2?

Show LessWe are usingCYW94343WWCD1_EVB. Ran thru the exercise with the help of support.
We have been using button, intercept, pwm programs, number times LED pressed using CYW94343WWCD1_EVB. Looking at the code it uses high and low to control the LED.
Able to see the use of “high” and “low” to turn off and on the LED. Also, the PWM scenario was verified.
Like to have board controlled by the button to Start LED low ( off), than press button for 25% brightness, press button again for 50%, press again for 75%, press again than again for high (fully on). Then start the cycle again.
Question:
Seeing where or how one can get percentages of “high”

Show LessI use CYW43455 as AP in Japan, but DFS features of W53 and W56 are not working.
The DFS related parameters of hostapd.conf are as follows.
ieee80211d=1
ieee80211h=1
#spectrum_mgmt_required=1
Probably I think that NVRAM_FILE (brcmfmac43455-sdio.txt) also has parameters related to DFS, but I can not find it.
The present condition is changing only the following parameters.
ccode=JP
How do I change which parameters to enable the DFS feature?
Show LessAccording to the certification authority the CYW43364 WiFi radio should adapt the transmission duty cycle during interference. The radio is loaded with the 43364A1-mfgtest firmware from Wiced Studio SDK 006.000.001.0005. Is there a command available to change the configuration for this adaptivity test? And does the standard 43364A1 firmware contain the prescribed behaviour?

Show LessHello All:
Im having a really frustrating issue on the CYW43907 - our code is reading a few values over the SPI bus and then printing them, but the combination of the SPI transfers and the printing is causing the board to reset itself and the SPI transfers to bug out. IF we remove the SPI transfers, the printing works just fine, printing out the pre-initialized values. If we remove the print, we see the SPI transactions working out from the logic analyser. Interestingly, the only prints that are failing are the ones where we are printing variables - ie the just printing a static string works just fine.
Other useful information:
1. Our code isnt using any RTOS, no network needed so just calling wiced_core_init()
2. We are using the SPI bitbang driver at 1 Mhz (base frequency)
3. We are toggling some GPIO's around the SPI transfer - the SPI part needs toggle pulses on each end of the transaction
4. We've tried using both WPRINT_APP_INFO as well as plain old printf
Any ideas would be invaluable, this is a critically needed fix for our project. Thanks!
Show LessI checked the document and template for "Cypress Wi-Fi Regulatory Manual" show in below URL.
https://www.cypress.com/documentation/application-notes/an225347-cypress-wi-fi-clm-regulatory-manual
Reading document, I understand that if I would like to changed target powers ,Measure, support band(NS), I need to submit modified file based on template to cypress. Could you tell me how to submit our modified file?
My motivation is changed the target power and to set not support channel such as over ch100~.
Show LessHello All:
I'm having a problem where i'm sending the CYW43907 eval kit into hibernate mode for 4+ minutes, and it will consistently wake itself up after about a minute and a half. Whats even weirder is that if I send it to hibernate for only 1 or 2 minutes, it will stay in hibernate mode for the correct amount of time.
In terms of the code, i'm using the hibernate example snip from this post (43xxx_wifi Hibernate.c in WICED 6.2.1? ), with the only change made being the HIBERNATION_PERIOD_MS time.
Is there other considerations that going into choosing the hibernate time?
Show LessHi - I'm using the WW101 examples with a Quicksilver board. I can join a WiFi network by editing the SSID and PASSPHRASE entries in the wifi_config_dct.h file, but how do I join a network that requires username and password credentials?
Thanks,
Bill
