Hello Sir/mam
Now, we are using Cyw54907 cypress development board with Wiced 5.2.
i'm use it with example code snip/custom ie (which is based on vendor IE)..(it's Accesspoint Example)
but it's based on interworking IE or not.. i need to confirm about it. or any other example which is based on Interworkig IE..
i need to initiate my Accesspont with interworking IE or Vendor IE.

Show LessWe have an existing product already on the market that uses a module with the 4343W silicon and shipped with bootloader and the original OTA (not OTA2) code from WICED SDK 4.1.1. We would like to OTA to an updated version based on 4.1.3, which has an updated wifi firmware image with the KRACK fixes. The APIs, DCTs, and bootloader are the same, so it should be simple.
The normal WICED OTA solution works fine for us for updating our application code. But it does not update the wifi firmware for the 4343W chip.
I have spent time searching the wiced and wwd code base, and the forums here without finding any obvious reference to a "standard" WICED solution for this problem.
I can, of course, roll my own solution in our app by downloading the new 4.1.3 wifi firmware bin into a new location in external sflash, and then using the existing wwd APIs to
reset and reload the module.
But I cannot be the first developer to have this need, so I'm assuming that I'm missing some document, demo, snip, or forum discussion where this is already addressed.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Show LessHi,
I'm using CYW43907 as a WLAN station.
In my environment, link down (and a few seconds later link up) sometimes happen.
Can I get longer the link down detection timeout?
WICED SDK 6.2.1, CYW43907
Best regards,
Nobuhiro
Show Lessi have "CYW954907AEVAL1F" board.. it's supported 802.11u(HotSpot2.0 == interworking)?
Hi folks,
I've (rather foolishly, as it works out) built some prototypes using BCM43438A0 silicon. I will switch to CYW43438A1 for the next iteration but it would be useful to check the board out using the current silicon.
Trouble is, I cannot find firmware files for this chip when driven with a 26MHz clock...I don't suppose anyone has any old ones down the back of a sofa anywhere, do they? Version doesn't really matter and I don't intend to use these files in anger...I just need to check functional correctness before the next build of the board.
Regards
DAVE
Show LessI have two CYW943907AEVAL1F eval boards connected to the same Linux PC. With one eval. board connected, the default ports are /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/ttyUSB1.
With two boards, I see an additional two ports: /dev/ttyUSB2 and /dev/ttyUSB3 (good!). In fact, I can connect my serial port program to USB0 and USB2 and see the console port of each individual board.
Does anyone know if there a way to force the Eclipse IDE to connect to one board or the other for code download purposes? For the life of me, I can't seem to find any settings to make this possible...
Thanks!
Show LessI have an application for which I need to use the CY8CKIT-062-BT using the Murata LBEE5KL1DX-883 module for bluetooth communication. I have built a simple application in windows that allows me to talk to two computers like a chat application.
I used the example bt_dualmode_server to communicate with the chat application and I run into two issues:
1. The PIN number authentication from my windows application does not seem to have a corresponding place holder in the WICED application
2. I was able to pair once and transmit data, however the data was a bit jumbled with some characters missing
Subsequent pairing fails, and only when I clear the paired device on windows, I am able to pair once again with the missing/jumbled characters.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Show LessI am using WICED-Studio-6.1 on CYW943907AEVAL1F platform.
I can't succeed to download the image using by using Olimex_ARM-USB-TINY-H on WICED-Studio-6.1 (Windows10).
but WICED-Studio-6.0 can download successfully.

Show LessHi All,
I'm using SDK6.1. I'm using "make snip.pers-BCM943909WCD1_3.B1-ThreadX-NetX_Duo-debug ota2_download" to build and load the source code.
I want to know is there any way i can load my .bin file to wiced chip without using source code. I mean using with .bin file how i can load it to wiced.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
