Hi All,
When I did iperf in STA mode in 5G, I was able to get 130 Mbps (UDP) with a PC on Ethernet.
I would like to know if there is any known performance hit if I config the 43907 in AP mode (5G), and have a tablet join the 43907 soft-AP, and make a UDP connection from 43907 to the tablet.
Will I be able to obtain at least 32 Mbps for such connection? There is no other device joining the AP.
Thanks,
Show LessHi,
I am using CYW54907 dev board, WICED SDK 6.6. My board is placed in a mix 2.4GHz, 5GHz network, 2 network has different SSID.
Normally, I can connect to 2.4GHz network and 5GHz network well. But sometimes I cant connect 2.4GHz network or even if I connect the network successfully, I cant get the ip address. I did use a phone hotspot and place the hotspot near my board, but it still can't connect. The issue lasts for 1-2 days.
I don't store ssid and password on default_wifi_config_dct.h or on dct field, I join network using wiced_join_ap_specific(). Strangely enough, if I load scan example, put my network info in default_wifi_config_dtc.h, let it autoconnect via wiced_init(), and constantly press reset button, it can recover. I don't see this case with 5GHz network.
What is the problem with my board and how can i troubleshoot it? I had some fellows who connect to 2.4GHz smoothly, but their environment doesn't have 5GHz network, so I wonder if it's because of my dev board hardware or the mixed 2.4GHz and 5GHz network has some unwanted effects on joining network.
Thanks
Hi there,
I have followed this instructions for DEBUGGING in my CYW9443907AEVAL1F
https://community.infineon.com/t5/Wi-Fi-Combo/CYW9443907AEVAL1F-GDB-CANNOT-DEBUG/m-p/344407#M19516
but I cannot see all the threads in my window, is there any option to this?
Thanks
Show LessHello, I have a CYW943907AEVAL1F board and I have an issue:
I'm testing the last version of SDK: 6.6.1.1 and with "test.console-CYW943907AEVAL1F download run" target. I'm testing with peap protocol.
And I have WWD_NOT_KEYED as result:
TLS handshake failed with error = [4]
Join result 1007:
Supplicant result = [6001]
And in the freeradius side I can see only a "Send Accept Challenge" but I dont get an "Send access acept".
1.- What things do I have to modified in order to test it with peap protocol?
2.- The first step in the user guide says that we need to configure the certificates, is it needed for peap? if yes, which one?
I already tried to replace WIFI_USER_CERTIFICATE_STRING with CA.pem and server.pem and it doesnt work.
3.- If it's needed a certificate, is there a way to avoid it in code?
4.- I saw a variable named eap_identity and I set to "testing" which is my user, is that correct? Or how can I set that variable?
Thanks,
Vanessa
Show LessHello, I followed this link to debug with my CYW9443907AEVAL1F:
https://community.infineon.com/t5/Resource-Library/Downloading-through-Jlink-Segger-in-WICED-SDK-6-2-and-future/ta-p/246288
And I followed all the instructions there in the word file to debug with GDB
It seems like it try but the log says that it cannot read the registers
I'm going to attach the complete log., Does anybody knows what its wrong?
Also I saw a comment in that post about doing a target with the debug option, I made this:
test.console-CYW943907AEVAL1F-debug JTAG=jlink-native JLINK_PATH="C:/Program\ Files\ \(x86\)/SEGGER/JLink_V720/" JLINK_EXE="JLink.exe" JLINK_DEVICE=CYW43907 JLINK_SPEED=auto JLINK_INTERFACE=JTAG JLINK_AUTO_CONNECT=1 download debug
But in this case I got an error like this
warning: File "C:\Documents\WICED-Studio-6.6\43xxx_Wi-Fi\.gdbinit" auto-loading has been declined by your `auto-load safe-path' set to "$debugdir:$datadir/auto-load".
To enable execution of this file add
add-auto-load-safe-path C:\Users\H448134\Documents\WICED-Studio-6.6\43xxx_Wi-Fi\.gdbinit
line to your configuration file "$HOME/.gdbinit".
To completely disable this security protection add
set auto-load safe-path /
line to your configuration file "$HOME/.gdbinit".
For more information about this security protection see the
"Auto-loading safe path" section in the GDB manual. E.g., run from the shell:
info "(gdb)Auto-loading safe path"
.gdbinit_attach:1: Error in sourced command file:
localhost:3333: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
But when I set that instruction in gdbinit file, when I run again the target, WICED STUDIO will override it and delete that instruction, does anybody knows how add it?
Thanks and regards
I have a TCP socket opened against our server. We usually transmit up to 40KB/s (although faster would be better). When transmitting, often times, I will either run into a scenario where the tcp send reports that the connection is closed or just an error. I'm not sure what is going on. We are using NetX as the network stack.
Also, when looking at wireshark, I do not see a RST sent by the server. The last thing I see is always the server sending an ACK. I've tried disabling low power, throttling down the transfer rate, changing the MTU size, changing the device's ACK retry timeout.
Show LessI need an example or documentation on implementing a USB slave device on STM32F4. We are using WICED and ThreadX.
We are using our own board.
Show LessHi All,
Since I am new to Murata chips, I would like to know what is the recommended IDE for development. I know that WICED SDK supports Murata, after installing a patch file. Is it possible to use STM32 Cube IDE with the help of STM32 Connectivity Package, for the development? If so, is there any way to get the ioc file to start with? Thanks for the help in advance
regards

Show LessI have a STM32F412+CYW43438 EVB to develop a ioT device.
I try to follow all debug configuration settings on forum but I get a problem here.
I set breakpoint at my application_start in Startup option but actually start at WICED/platform/ARM_CM4/crt0_GCC.c _start
Have someone to help this issue?

We are trying to enable new platform support (RA6M2) on WICED with WIFI module. For this purpose, we have started with sample LED blinky application and created the appropriate make target to build for the new platform. Have proceeded with porting the few essential drivers and verified the build process; the binary .elf file is also generated (bypassed the bootloader compilation as of now).
When we tried to run or launch the program using Jlink debugger which is connected to our eval board, facing the below error with pop-up window saying,
This selection cannot be launched and there are no recent launches.
This error is observed only when we try the run the program in debug mode with no other errors. Can you share your comments or any inputs on this issue.
Thanks.
