I'm working my way through the ww101-01-Peripheral.pdf.  I'm stuck on a weird problem.  I followed the instructions for the 02-blinkled.c.  Under Make Target I made a target named "ww101.02.02_blinkled-CYW943907AEVAL1F download run".  When I double click on it everything builds ok with no errors but the program is not executing on the evaluation board.  I know this because the led is not blinking one second on and one second off (I changed the on and off times to 1000ms).  However if I debug with 43xxx-WI-FI_Debug_Windows, the program is downloaded and executes as expected even the debug print statement are being displayed on a serial monitor.  Any ideas what is going wrong?

I fixed the problem by re-installing drivers per issue entitled "Upgrade USB Drivers for WICED Studio 6.1".

Hi

The above thing works fine at my end - blinks the led after every 1 second.

I hope you are following the below steps properly:

1. Created a folder under 43xxx_Wi-Fi\apps folder as "43xxx_Wi-Fi\apps\ww101\02" - need to create 2 folder ww101(under apps) and 02 (under ww101)

2. Created 2 files under the same folder (43xxx_Wi-Fi\apps\ww101\02) as "02_blinked.c" and "02_blinkled.mk" - under folder 02

3. Added the following content in "02_blinkled.mk":

NAME := apps_ww101_02_02_blinkled

$(NAME)_SOURCES := 02_blinkled.c

4. Added a make target as "ww101.02.02_blinkled-CYW943907AEVAL1F download run"

Clean the project (make target - clean) before running the above make target.

Please check the files and folders properly. If still the issue persists, then please let me know.

Regards

The pdf says the folder containing 02_blinkled.c,02_blinkled.mk  should be "43xxx_Wi-Fi\apps\ww101\02\02_blinkled"

When I use the above file structure I don't get any build errors but when I did it your way I received the following errors:

07:08:57 **** Build of configuration Default for project 43xxx_Wi-Fi ****

Hi

Yeah, sorry I forgot to mention that another folder "02_blinked" needs to be added and inside this, you should keep the "02_blinked.c" and "02_blinked.mk" files, as correctly mentioned in the pdf.

The above method works perfectly at my end.

Can you please send me the screenshots of your WICED environment depicting the folder structure (.c and .mk files) and make target?

Regards
