Set dns to 8.8.8.8 while using static IP

I'm trying to bring my interface up using STATIC IP, however it seems that while using static IP the dns is not specified.

So How can I specify the DNS names like 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.8.4.4 to my Wifi chip in STATIC IP mode?
