Hello,
We are using Cypress Murata 1MW Wi-Fi + BT combo module in i.Mx8MP &
i.MX8M mini Dev. Kit. and Android11.0.0_1.0.0 (5.4.47 kernel)
We are facing issue with Wi-Fi(5GHz and 2.4GHz) throughput values.
Getting below throughput values in 5GHz,
Transmit - 120MB/s
Received - 150MB/s
Getting below throughput values in 2.4GHz,
Transmit - 25MB/s
Received - 30MB/s
NOTE: From kernel side we are getting expected throughput values, but in android side we are getting very low throughput values.
Is there any source code changes is required from android layer side?
Regards,
Sudarshan

For Android, we don't support FMAC.
We have AHD (https://community.infineon.com/t5/Wi-Fi-Bluetooth-for-Linux/Infineon-Android-Release-2021-12-16/td-p... ) which currently doesn't support 43455 in AHD.

Hello Sudarshan,
Kindly let us know which driver you are using.
Also, please clarify what were the expected throughput values. When "kernel side" is mentioned, does it implies Linux kernel ?
What is the country code set and is the testing carried out in open environment ?
Thanks,
Ambika

Dear Ambika,
Thank you for your support.
1. We are using below mentioned Wi-Fi driver.
vendor/nxp-opensource/kernel_imx/drivers/net/wireless/broadcom/brcm80211/brcmfmac/
vendor/nxp-opensource/kernel_imx/drivers/net/wireless/broadcom/brcm80211/brcmutil/
2. The expected throughput value is mentioned below.(Which is from Linux kernel)
Wi-Fi at 5GHz
Transmit - 245MB/s
Receive - 220MB/s
Wi-Fi at 2.4GHz
Transmit - 59MB/s
Receive - 55MB/s
3. Country code is setted as like below,
androidboot.wificountrycode=CN
And test was carried out in indoor.

Sudarshan
