I found that a new QDID had been registered on Bluetooth Sig.

QDID:160340 - Component (Tested)

        CY-WICED 4.1 BLUETOOTH Host Stack, 4.1

We have BLE project with CYW4343W(1DX) and WICED(6.4.0).

Can I use this QDID for BT SIG certification ? Should we update WICED to 6.6.0 ?

Hi,

  1. QDID:160340 holds the notion for a new Bluetooth Host Stack of Cypress/Infineon, which is Bluetooth 5.2 core spec compliant, and the actual Software Version Number of it is BT-STACK-1.7.6173. However, CYW4343W is Bluetooth 5.1 compliant and there is no sign that CYW4343W is now using BT-STACK-1.7.6173.
See the link below for more information:
Launch Studio - Listing Details (bluetooth.com)
  2. Updating to the newest IDE is always better in general. So you can update to WICED 6.6.0 if you have no reason not to.

Best regards

Thanks!

OK, I will apply QDID:115853 by referring to the following.

By the way, how can I check which version number of BT-STACK is used in the combination of WICED and controller (4343W)?
