Hello,
From the Bluetooth perspective the 43438 is an HCI chip. It does not support hosting embedded application for the mesh on the chip. Meanwhile, it can be used with an external host for mesh applications. The mesh stack (for example, BSA or BlueZ) resides on the host and uses 43438 for mesh connections. The FW for 43438 has been updated to support mesh applications. The feature is in the last stages of verification with several customers and going production soon.
Thanks,
Victor
