Wi-Fi Bluetooth for Linux Forum Discussions

We are trying to prepare Wi-Fi software test for the reference lab to get certification done for our device.
Our Communication Module uses a CYW43455 Cypress Module.
But “wl” tool is not available in our device.
Please share the information how to download and run ‘wl’ tool in our device.
 
Our installed Driver-Firmware Version are:
Firmware: BCM4345/6 wl0: Sep 18 2020 02:27:58 version 7.45.221 (3a6d3a0 CY) FWID 01-bbd9282b

Hi Mohit,

Good. Can you confirm if you are using a module from a module vendor

If yes then they would have to provide you with the tool.

Welcome to the community. Sure I can help you with the wl tool. Can you tell me about the architecture of your host chip (32 or 64bit, arm or x86)?

Are you using a module from a module vendor? In that case, you can request the tool from them.

Hi Rakshith, 

Thanks for replying. Our device architecture is aarch64 (64 bit). It has iMX8m mini processor.
