2) sorage capacity not less than 32GB(we are more prefer to hard disk solution )
would you please recommend suitable solutions to us.
I also have an other question here , i find some SD card vendors have 64GB or 128GB version already, does CYPRess can support it ??

Show LessHello,
I am using FX3 as a Device controller used for USB3.0 communication wih a Host controller. So for data fetching i am interfacing FX3 with a processor on Slave-FIFO mode.
So i am looking for documents so that i can configure the firmware code so as to use it as a Slave for data fetching.
Thanks
Show LessHi,
Do I need to include common mode filtering on the USB 3 SS data lines to reduce EMI? Also will I need to include ESD protection on the same data lines?

Show LessWe have noticed some issues with booting the FX3 at low temperatures. We have the CYUSB3014-BZXI on a product which uses an I2C bootloader that is loading correctly from a 24FC256-I/SN. Note thtat all other parts on the board are also rated for the full industrial temperature range. This bootloader looks to the attached SPI Flash (Micron N25Q128A11B1240E) for a larger boot image.
.
At room temperatures, this process has worked fine. The SPI image is loaded and boots the FX3. The device correctly enumerates.
.
At low temperatures (approaching 0C), the bootloader fails to retrieve the image from SPI. Upon failure, it is designed to enumerate as its own device and can accept very limited instructions.
.
These have been field failures so far and not evaluated in the lab just yet. We don't have too much information yet but wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this.
Show LessHey all,
I have been working with the imager sensor project (AN75779) and am close to getting it working. I am using an Aptina MT9P031 imager which I have been able to communicate with and setup properly. I am using AMCap to (hopefully) read in the image.
The FX3 will enumerate as a UVC device and AMCap will recognize it. However, no image shows up. All of the appropriate pins on the imager are active: external clock, pixel clock, frame valid, line valid, etc. I have checked them with a scope and they are working properly. The issue seems to be with the GPIF state machine and/or the GPIF/DMA callbacks.
In UVCAppThread_Entry, I get the current SM state and print it over UART. The firmware runs through the SM for a while and appears to be working. It will enter the GPIF callback once or twice and does not report any errors. But eventually it will get stuck in either state 9 or 10, PARTIAL_BUF_IN_SCK0 or PARTIAL_BUF_IN_SCK1, respectively. Both state 9 and 10 have the INTR_CPU action (per the AN) and are set to repeat this action until he next transition. It does appear that a few bulk transfers occur before the state machine freezes, so it's possible the rest of the program is working correctly.
Any ideas on why the state machine is getting stuck?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Aaron

Show LessAll,
Another interesting design with FX3…3D motion control...
Please refer to the webpage given below for more details on the same.

Show LessHi all,
in some postings problems are indicated when omitting the 32 KHz clock.
The problems obviously depend on SDK and FX3 silcon revisions.
Can you today recommend to safely omit the 32 Khz clock when there is no need for a watchdog in standby mode?
Regards
Günter
Show LessHi,
Is there a way for the FX3 to force a PKTEND instead of the PKTEND signal being applied externally to the FX3. I want to add a vendor request that will send whatever data is in one of the FX3's IN endpoints to the host PC. The FX2 had this function.
