Hello,

CX3 does not support virtual channel feature of MIPI CSI-2 specification. Please refer to Question 6 of the following KBA which mentions this:

Hello,

I understand that you are referring to MIPI CSI 2 interface support on FX3. Is my understanding correct? If yes, FX3 supports GPIF II interface (parallel interface) for interfacing with sensors. It doesn't support MIPI CSI2 interface. Please refer to FX3's datasheet for more details https://www.cypress.com/file/140296/download

You can use a FPGA between MIPI CSI 2 transmitter and FX3 for MIPI CSI2 to parallel interface conversion. You can also refer to this KBA for reference USB2.0 Camera Interface Using FX2LP™ and Lattice C... - Cypress Developer Community   Please note that this KBA is for FX2LP and is pointed just for reference.

Please let me know if any queries on this.

Regards,
Rashi
