Hello,
If I use burst transfer and set burst length as 8, what is the size of short packet? If I send a packet with 1k size, is it a short packet because its length is less than 8k, or NOT a short packet because its length is 1k?
best, regards.
Show LessHi,
does anybody have any experiences while using FX2 (USB2.0 HS) chip on a USB3.0 Hostconrtoller (e. g. Intel onboard or Renesas PCIx Card)? We see, that the bandwidth on a USB2.0 Hostcontroller is higher than at a USB3.0 Hostcontroller. How can that be???

Show LessI'm using GPIF to control some periphals by master mode. However, now I met an issue with it. If there is no transmision on the USB link for a while, the PC will request FX3 to enter low power mode. At this time, there will be some unexpected noise on GPIF signals, no matter false or true returned in callback function of power mode change. If I force the PC to disable power management on USB hub, then the issue never happens.
I'd like to know how to avoid this noise signals.
Thanks & Regards,
Rover
Show LessI created a DMA-MANY-TO-ONE-AUTO (2 to 1) channel between the Pport and USB endpoint to transfer some data. The GPIF worked in 16bit mode. When I use the ControlCenter to check the received data, they are all copied once.I am now really confused by this.
Show LessI'm curious if there are stack and/or timing constraints on the callback for receiving vendor commands. I added some debug statements and a number of function calls to a specific vendor command and upon invoking that command the firmware stops responding. Remove the debugging and it functions normally. I'm curious if the correct way is to use event notification and process the request on the application thread instead? I haven't found a good reason why the debugging would cause firmware to stop responding. Any thoughts?
Show LessHi,
I modified AN75779_001-75779_0B source code to interface FX3 with ZA10S20(1280x720/30fps/YUV422) of Zeeann Co.,Ltd.
I have a black screen, so I checked troubleshooting list in the AN75779.
I have checked the increasing frame counter using UART, It is ok.
I want to check next item, how to check the total amount of data being sent out per frame?
Many thanks.
MayFLY.
Show LessHello Guys,
I am presently using cypress sdk 1.2.3.
I am trying to program a slave fifo sync firmware with a FPGA.
I am observing my flags on my oscilloscope.
1st Problem: with cypress control center, when I try to transfer a file out using cypress control center.
I can see that bulk out transfer successful but no flag changes.
2nd problem. when I send data using Tranfer data out in control center we normally generate only zeroes. and I can see the zeroes recieved correctly in my FPGA. But when I send some hexadecimal (Data to send(Hex)). I recieve in FPGA only 0xFFFFFFFF all the time..(FLAGS WORK PROPERLY IN THIS CASE WHEN DATA TRANSFER OUT IS USED)
What might be the problem.
Any suggestions.

Show LessI am getting this error while using ISOCH transfer at 3 transactions per micro frame.
I read through this link provided at cypress forum which offers a possible solution to this problem
http://www.cypress.com/?id=4&rID=47052
Here a possible solution is given that when AADJ bit is set then this issue will be solved, can anyone pls tell how to set this bit to avoid PID related errors
Thanks
