Hi!
I'm testing the streaming in firmware on the FX3.
Using a fifo 32 bit interface between Spartan 6 FPGA and FX3,
i'm trying to read a simple counter inside the FPGA from Control Center.
What's troubling me is that, after resetting both FPGA and FX3, when I press "Transfer Data-IN",
the first 32 bit I read is different from 0.
This lead me to think that as soon as I program the FPGA it starts to count and write into FX3 DMA buffer.
How can I read sequentially the counter avoiding data loss?
Thank you!

Show LessHi! How to configure GPIF port so that the rising edge of CLK (from external clock, 25 MHz) at 32 bits from port stored in a buffer? Once the buffer is filled, it is sent to the PC.
Show LessHi,
we have a product designed around the CYUSB3011-BZXC. Last week we were informed by our supplier that Cypress Semiconductor was having issues with the part and that all orders had to be cancelled. What kind of issue are they having with the chip and how long until they expect to start shipping orders again? Are there any suppliers that would have at least 3000 units in stock?
Thanks
Show LessHi, I've the following issue:
i modified slightly the Cypress provided Streamer (CPP version) example in order to start my streaming device ( High Bandwidth bulk in).
I don't have any problem as long as there is 1 only device attached to the host AND 1 only instance of the streamer running on the same host. If I start 2 instances of the Streamer application they are both able to open the same FX3 device and to communicate with if (which obviously creates a lot of inconsistencies).
I would expect that that a USBDevice can be opened only once and that it isn't possible (by design) that an other program starts to "interfere" with a device currently in use. Isn't this the case for CyAPI.lib ?
Which kind of mechanism has been foreseen by Cypress to protect a opened and used FX3 Device ?
How do I make the device access exclusive ?
Thanks, Joebre
Show LessHi all,
FX3 DVK Samtec to FMC interconnect board (which is shown in AN65974) schematics and Gerber files are attached to this thread.
Thanks,

Show LessHi,
I am using the FX3 DVK board. I want to use GPIF II as a master mode.
Could you provide some GPIF master applications?
particularly for control of sync SRAM's and FX3 as master.
Do you have also samples how to use the API functions CyU3PGpifWriteDataWords() and CyU3PGpifReadDataWords() with GPIF project?
