HI,
I am using fx3s slavefifo example and gpifstorage example.
I am storing gpif p port data into the sd card (p port is producer and s port is consumer)and also recieving in the usb(p port is producer and u port is consumer),can i use same p port producer socket for both s and u port consumer sockets??
thank you...
Show LessHi everyone
The following is my design using GPIF II Designer,
but this does not seem to work, how can I modify it?
Or only use the GPIF II connect FPGA to achieve it?
Show LessHi all,
We use CYUSB3014 and its UVC function (using AN75779 example).
Streaming data (video data) is okay generally.
But sometimes streaming error occurres. (the attached file)
"Lines are dislocated."
(Excuse me that I have difficulty in this problem by text.)
I checked image sensor's output signals are okay.
(Pixel CLK, VSYNC, HSYNC, Data lines)
I doubt a little that there is a problem on "commit process". (data transfer from CYUSB3014 to Host)
By any chance,
if this problem is related with FX3's GPIF or any firmware part,
please let me know.
Regards, thank you.

Hello
i have a GX3 dev kit but no software to program the EEprom.
Could you please send me this software ?
Other question: Is the Eeprom mandatory with the GX3 (EZUSB3610) ?
Thank you
Franck
Show LessThe pin from an external device is connected to fx3s pin.How to call an ISR ?specific to this pin?
or
fx3 supports an external interrupt pin?
let me know
thank you
Show LessIn my case, I need synchronous mode to receive data, while the waiting time before data is uncertain. So I configured the timeout to Infinite. But I found that when I needed to stop, there seemed to be no way to stop.
Show LessHi,
AN75779 firmware FX3 with 32-bits interface is not detected in Device Manager (Imaging devices). GPIF with 16 bits interface works fine.
Attached both 16-bits and 32 bits cyfxgpif2config.h and changed isDQ32Bit parameter set to CyTrue in the firmware.
Thanks
Show LessHello,
my design contains an FX3 USB3.0 controller CYUSB3014 and Artix-7 FPGA. I want to configure my FPGA only via USB 3.0 connector. Fortunately, this function is specified in the datasheets on FX3. There is a visual image in datasheet AN84868 "Configuring an FPGA Over USB Using Cypress EZ-USB FX3" on page 2 how to connect FX3 and FPGA for it. Only 5 signals required.
I want to understand what the image is in the Xilinx Impact program when I connect a chain to the USB 3.0 connector through FX3? Whether it is a standard chain of chip FPGA and SPI Flash (in my case)? Or will be further defined FX3 chip? Сan I thus configure Flash too? Or this option only for firmware FPGA?
Show LessHi all,
So I'm planning on making a PCB that uses the CYUSB3014-BZX to transfer data between PC software and an FPGA. I've been following AN70707 quite closely, and plan on using I2C boot with EEPROM loaded with my FX3 firmware. However I stumbled across the SRAM on the bottom of the Super Speed Explorer board when checking the design, I just wanted to check what is the main purpose of the SRAM? And if I will need to use it in my design with a I2C boot?
Kind Regards
Ricky Thomson
