Hi

I am a developer looking at Cy7c68013 as a replacement for cy7c68001.

Looking at the datasheet, it says that if Cy7c68013 is no eeprom, VID = 04B4 PID = 8613.

But for the purchased Cy7c68013 it shows as VID = 0471 PID = 082D.

When I surf the web, it says Philips (or NXP) for VID = 0471.

I don't know what's wrong. Is the IC chip defective? Is it because the chip manufacturing year is too old?

Attach a picture of the chip appearance.

please answer about my question!

thank you!

Hello,

It seems most likely that the chips are fake.

Hello

We bought it from a small vendor near the company and I don't know exactly where it's manufactured.

We purchased 5 samples, and 2 of them were confirmed by SMT work

Both samples are  same VID & PID.

Do you think these products are fake?
