Hi,

We are considering using GX3.

We understand that this device is USB 3.0 to Ethernet bridge.

So I have a question.
Can I use this device with a USB 2.0 host?

Regards,

Sorry for the previous reply since I didn't check the datasheet.

Yes, GX3 has only USB3.0 PHY and no USB2.0 PHY. Thus, it couldn't support USB 2.0 host.

Of course yes.

Thank you for your reply.

I confirmed GX3 data sheet,
The block diagram does not include PHY of USB 2.0.

For example, in HX3, since both FS and SS PHY are described, it can be determined that FS and SS can be supported.

Isn't GX3 supporting only super speed?
