EZ-USB FX3 UVC commands

I am planning to purchasing an EZ-USB FX3 development board for engineering evaluation.

Since our targeted application involves proprietary control commands on top of the UVC protocol, my question is that would it be possible to send / receive proprietary commands (non-standard UVC commands) between the host PC and the EZ-USB FX3 via USB?  Would anyone has experience on this?

Hi Ken,

Extension Unit could be added to the UVC device to include proprietary control requests.
