The EZ-USB FX3 datasheet shows the allowed clock input frequencies of:
Will the device operate properly if the reference clock was 24MHz for an application that uses GPIF-II and USB3 interfaces?
We need to do that so that the sysclk becomes 480MHz and we can derive a PiBCLK of 160MHz to meet the timing of the external device attached to the GPIF-II interface.

Hi,
We strongly recommend the use of the default frequencies mentioned in the datasheet. The device has not been tested for proper functioning at other frequencies.
Thanks,
Ajeeth
