Is there a device size limit for the storage connected to FX3 via I2C, other than for booting?
I want to merge and store FPGA configuration data and FX3 boot data in storage connected by I2C.
AN76405 has a description of EEPROM support capacity. I think this number is only the limit of FX3's boot density. Is it correct?
Thanks,
Tetsuo

Hi Tetsuo,
If the I2C EEPROM is used for booting, storage size cannot go beyond 256KB.
But if EEPROM is used for cases other than booting, any size of EEPROM can be used, provided the (2*slave address)+register address+register content should not exceed 8 bytes of data.
