Hello
I am doing a CX3 UVC configuration and I want to configure MODE6 according to IMX294 datasheet as shown below.
I would like to know what values I should set for H-Active, V-Active, H-Blanking, V-blanking?
Do I need to make changes to the CSI Clock values?
Best Regards,
Yaqi

Hello Yaqi,
Please let me know if the image sensor transfers data to the MIPI Receiver (CX3) in the ignored area of effective pixel, effective margin for color processing, user clamp etc. Also, please let me know the MIPI Data type IDs that can be present in the Packet header of each line. CX3 supports only the following MIPI data types:
Data Type ID |
Name |
0x00 |
Frame Start Code |
0x01 |
Frame End Code |
0x12 |
Embedded 8-bit non-Image Data |
0x1E |
YUV422 8-bit |
0x22 |
RGB565 |

Any MIPI data type that is not supported by CX3 will not be sent out to the host along with the video data. Please approach the image sensor vendor to understand the values that should be set for H Active, H Blanking, V Active, V Blanking and CSI clock.
