Hi,

Kindly let me know if you are using HX2VL or HX2LP? If yes, please find the vendor driver attached. Please follow the steps as explained in the attached Driver_binding doc.

Regards,

Mallika

hi
1. I am not expert in computers- what  do you mean by "hub silicon"
2. i have looked again in device manager, and seen no further detail , other than "cypress hub usb manufacturing driver " under the universal serial bus controllers section

Hi,

Did you try binding with the driver I've attached in my previous response?

Hi

  1. I didn’t bind that driver, because I did not recognize anything you sent me on my computer-can I arrange to talk to you?

On right clicking the cypress device in the device manager, there comes an option to update the driver. Please select that. Please refer to the attached screenshot. Share the screenshot for your window.

There should be some Generic Hub driver installed for the device as shown in the figure.
Bind the Generic hub driver installed using Right-click on the device -> Update Driver -> Browse my computer for drivers > Choose the Generic Hub Driver inf path and select Okay -> Install the driver
