Hello
I am trying to connect an Android device to a board using CY7C65211A.
The CY7C65211A is used by setting it to SPI Master mode (speed = 3MHz) with the Cypress USB-Serial Configuration Utility.
On a specific host (Android device), the SPI communication speed becomes 9600Hz by setting dwDTERate = 9600 with
the CDC SET_LINE_CODING command in the enumeration process when connected via USB, and the desired data rate (3MHz) ) Will not be able to communicate.
However, this is because the CY7C65211A is a Fixed FW, so I think it works as specified.
Please tell me about two.
●Would you please tell me if there is a method that can be used without slowing down the SPI communication speed by a command from the Android tablet side?
●Even if the speed of serial communication (SPI communication) changes when the USB CDC command set line coding is sent from the tablet side, the speed of USB transfer itself does not change. Is this my perception correct?

Show LessHi. Cypress
In the billboard CY7C65210-24LTXI datasheet, I can't find the Tj temperature value,it is only TA(–40 °C to +85 °C for Industry). would you like to provide the Tj temperature?
thanks

Show LessI am trying to create firmware for the EZ-USB FX2 using ~EZ-USB suite however I first need to install the right SDK. FYI I'm following the video How to get started with developing for the Cypress EZ-USB FX2 - YouTube
However when I try to install the SDK from the link below, nothing happens, could someone please advise me.

HI,
I need to include in my design a full speed USB bridge to SDIOV3.
The component CYUSB3025-BZXI seams to be perfect.
But the data rate mentioned is the USB full speed 480Mbps, and I need to know the global data rate for a transfert from USB to SDIO.
Theorically, SDIOV3 permits up to 400mbps too but many of USB-SDIO bridge cuts offer 130mbps... it would be too slow for my usage.
Could somebody tell me the max data rate obtain with this component ?
Show LessHello Team,
We have requirement to utilise the USB-to-SPI bridge which supports the data transfer from our custom micro-controller board which shall be SPI master. As we have been using USB-to-UART bridge so far for the same data transfer, we have developed most of our applications to connect and communicate with the virtual com port. I see that you have solutions for the USB-SPI bridge to advertise as a VCP device.
Please suggest if I need to customise my applications in both Windows and Linux OS to adapt to your bridge or shall I be able to directly utilise as I used my existing software for USB-UART communication.
I have been going through your documents and materials to understand the same. Meanwhile, it would nice if you could pin-point me to the information or suggest me to reduce the design or component selection time.
Thanks in advance.

Show LessHi.
We are interesting in implementing Serial MPEG-TS to USB bridge via Cypress CY7C68013 in our platforms.
We are also planning to purchase CY7C68013 evaluation board for testing. (FX2LP DMB-T/H TV Dongle Reference Design)
So, we need the following:
1. Where can we purchase the FX2LP DMB-T/H TV Dongle Reference Design?
2. Full Cypress CY7C68013 documentation including datasheet, AppNotes with full registers/hardware description, examples etc.
3. SDK or some reference project covering Serial MPEG-TS input interface for CY7C68013.
Thanks in advance.

Show LessHi, I have tried to execute the SPI VCP/CDC but it stops at "CySpiReadWrite_VCP" with a time-out error.
There is already an entry in the community, which seems to deal with the same/similar issue (CY7C65211A SPI access ).
What have I done:
1. I am using the CYUSBS236 USB DVK BOARD
2. I replaced the CY7C65215 with the CY7C64215A
3. I have checked the functionality using the "TestUtility" -> I2C/SPI -> OK
4. I have started with the I2C example delivered with the driver SDK --> OK
5. I tried to use the SPI example --> FAIL
Any advice on what could be done to get at least the example working?
thx
Show LessDear,
Please help me a little bit for understanding the PKTEND.
I'm following the below link to extract data from image sensor (code as I made in this post: CY7C68013a 128P vs 56P for image sensor )
Interfacing FX2LP™ with Image Sensor – KBA95736
Up till now some image sensors works fine. I connect VSYNC to PA0(INT0#) to see the ending time when a frame is finished. Now I made a little bit of change (please note OEA=0, FIFOPINPOLAR = 0x07, thus PKTEND active LOW),
case (1)VSYNC --> connect to both PA0 & PA6,
case (2)VSYNC --> connect to PA0; PA6 tied to 3V3 (HIGH LEVEL)
In case (1), hopefully when the VSYNC goes to low level (active low), the last packet will be automatically sent to the computer host; but, anyhow, nothing happened, the results are exactly the same as case (2).
This puzzles me a little bit, in the technical reference manual chapter 9.2.5, it is stated that,
If the master wants to send a stream of data whose length is not a
multiple of 512, the last packet is not be automatically com-
mitted to USB because it is smaller than 512 bytes. To com-
mit that last packet, the master can do one of two things: It
can pad the packet with dummy data in order to make it
exactly 512 bytes long, or it can write the short packet to the
FIFO, then pulse the PKTEND pin.
while in my case it seems letting the PKTEND signal go to low level (active low, thus asserted) has no effect, have I missed something ?
Best regards,
Show LessHi,
I need to dynamically reconfigure the device within our application.
I tried to use the provided example source code, but I could not manage to get this up and running.
What is the target:
The USB device shall be used with different configurations without the need to reconfigure it with the "Cypress Configuration Utility".
Ideally, we want to use all three configurations (UART/I2C/SPI) in our application just by using the VCP (CDC) driver API from Cypress.
Is this possible?
If not, is it at least possible to use UART on one channel and SPI/I2C on the other channel?

Show LessHello,
I am using an USBEE AX it contains as far as I know CY7C68013. I was forced to install Windows 10, but now I cannot use my beloved USBEE AX anymore.
I searched here for many hours, and tried to install several drivers for the FX2LP, but so far with no success. I need to say, I am a hardware guy and not too good with this soft or firmware stuff. I tried to download several cypress files and also modify them with the VID/PID but then, windows10 tells me the driver is not signed and does not install it. Please can somebody help me providing me a windows10 driver file or point me in the right direction? VID:PID is 08a9:0014
Thank you very much, for your help
Roland
