Hi,

I just detected the KBA89285 -> https://community.cypress.com/docs/DOC-10959 and use the unique serial number in my firmware for a DSO. However, I wonder why this important functionality is not mentioned in the TRM.

Hello,

The KBA EZ-USB® FX2LP™ Unique ID Registers – KBA89285  addresses registers of FX2LP in particular.

KBAs generally contain information on specific products which are not present in the documents and which may be helpful in the process of development. They are created depending on the requirements and queries on a product.

We will consider your suggestion and we will update the document based on the requirements.

Thanks,

Yatheesh
