Hello,

In the Device Configuration Utility (Windows only) of USB-Serial Bridge IC, there is a parameter "VBUS Voltage is 3.3 V", and it is explained to check the checkbox when supplying 3.3 V from VBUS to CY65211.

Is it possible to use VBUS 3.3V in the same way in Linux system?
If so, how should I configure it?
As you know, there is no Device Configuration Utility provided for Linux.

MPN: CY65211-24LTXI

Thanks.

Hi, Rashi-san,

User was able to write on the OS (Linux) using the provided Command line utility.
They accidentally wrote the "CYUSBS236USBDVK_decrypted.cyusbd" included in the package to the CY7C65211 device.

As a result, the IC can no longer be recognized as a USB device by both Linux and Windows.
Is it possible to restore this IC?

Hello Morimoto san,

Please check if the device is  enumerated on Linux using lsusb -t or in the device manager of Windows

Hi,

As I told you, USB enumeration is not possible. Is there any other way to reset Config?

Best regards,
