Hi every one
I'm not having any USB Host controller available so Is that possible to do something with Peripheral controllers (such as CY7C6803XA/FX2LP) to make them act as a simple host controller ? I'm new to usb but i'm thinking we have endpoints under control and there's a microcontroller available on the chip so perhaps by some manipulating of endpoints data (making some control requests etc...) we could be able to communicate with another peripheral (i.e. a USB flash memory specificly).
Of course this is a concept and i'm not sure how to figure it out ... Is that making any sense ? For a USB Device controller to act as a host any way ?

FX2LP does not support host mode.
FX3 can act as a USB2.0 host. Please refer: EZ-USB FX3™ SuperSpeed USB 3.0 peripheral controller
