Hello,

I would like to use the CY7C65642 - 28L to create a 7-port hub 2.0 with two parts but I have not found any reference into documentation to help me with this design.

Is it possible to use two CY7C65642 - 28L to create a 7-ports hub? if yes, there is any reference design to help us?

I am looking forward to your feedback.

Best regards,

Jair Sakae

It's possible to create a "7-ports hub" using two HX2VL. You could connect the upstream port of HUB2 to one downstream port of HUB1.

There's noting special to take care of. You could refer to CY4608 design

https://www.cypress.com/documentation/development-kitsboards/cy4608-hx2vl-very-low-power-usb-20-comp...

and HX2VL hardware design guide

https://www.cypress.com/documentation/application-notes/an72332-guidelines-system-design-using-cypre...

Note: It's recommended to provide power from external source in you design, i.e., self-power design is preferred.
