In former case Solved: Solved: USB3.0 HUB CYUSB3314-88LTXC read register - Infineon Developer Community;customer still find the PC can't identify USB3.0 U disk status, but it may identify the USB2.0 U device in downstream with CYUSB3314-88LTXC, they consider the HUB go to eSS.disable staus, how to solve it. At the same time,their schematic design without external E2PROM, I also let them add the circuit to test whether it is the same issue.(USB3.0设备无法识别,但是USB2.0可以正常识别,怀疑接入的U盘进入了eSS.Disabled模式导致hub的下行口无法使用,如是这情况,该如何解决,同时,设计原理图中无外挂E2PROM,建议增加这块电路进一步验证和测试。)

The customer would like to know how to let hx3 enter test mode for eye pattern test.
They said they finished usb3.0 eye pattern test, but hx3 can't enter test mode when hx3 run at usb2.0
They want to know how to enter test mode in USB2.0?

We Teksun Inc are currently working on a product where we used the CYUSB331x HX3 USB 3.0 Hub. He re as a vendor, we required the Vendor-Command support to programming/configure the controller to work as standalone USB hub. for the purpose, we required the document and tool support from your side to fulfill our requirement.
Kindly let me know if you required anything from my side. Attaching the datasheet of our part that we are using.

But when I use CY7C65642(MCU1 connect to D2+/D2-,MCU connect to D3+/D3-,PC connect to D1+/D1-), I cannot open the USB device(MCU).
Show LessThere is a description of the Cin (Input pin capacitance) parameter in the datasheet.
Is the meaning of this parameter the capacitance that the USB HUB's input pin itself has? Or is it the value that limits the capacitance of the signal coming into the input pins of the USB HUB?
Also, Cin of HX2LP is 10pF. And according to the USB2.0 specification document (Section 7.1.6.2), the capacitance is to allow no more than 5.0 pF for the Die and no more than an additional 5 pF for the Package.
The sum is 10pF, but is it correct to understand that this satisfies Cin's 10pF?

After powering up HX2VL, sometimes OSC stops oscillating even though reset has not been applied. Can a device actively stop OSC? If so, what are the factors?
I think the internal logic is not working at all because the OSC is stuck. Is this correct?

Need MCDS for CYUSB3314-88LTXC to check exemptions for REACH compliance. If a specific REACH certificate is available for the part number that will work as well.
Show LessWe have a product designed with CYUSB2304-68LTXI meant to work as a USB 2.0 device only. It works well. Now due to component shortages we wanted to evaluate the CYUSB3304-68LTXI as well to have more options for the design.
Can I use CYUSB3304-68LTXI in the board which is designed for CYUSB2304-68LTXI.
I checked the pinouts they are identical except the USB 3.0 pins.
Can the USB 3.0 pins in the CYUSB3304-68LTXI be unconnected in this case? I am also not using the RREF_SS pin as well. Have an option to connect a resistor to GND.
What are the other precautions we need to take care or is it ok as is? How is the behavior of the chip with unused USB 3.0 pins?
I do not want to change the design.
Need you inputs in this regard.
