USB hosts hubs transceivers Forum Discussions
Dear Sirs and Madams,
We were introduced to the SiT which is a transmitter that meets the needs of the HX2VL.
Please refer to the solution at the URL below.
When We measured the RMS Jitter of SiT8008,
The measured value was 589.4 [ps] at BW 10-5MHz.
According to Cypress application note AN72332
Jitter (RMS): 260 [ps (Max)]
It seems that the above specifications are not met, is that okay?
Could you comment about this result?
Regards,
Show Lesshello,
i am using cy4609 evaluation board, When i connect board to the host computer it shows like this. please help me to resolve this issue.

i m using 3-cyusb3324 for a USB hub system.hub-1 is connected to host. Upstream of hub-2 is connected to downstream of hub-1, upstream of hub-3 is connected to the downstream of hub-2. is this possible for me to configure all of three hubs at one go by blaster plus tool by putting all hubs setting (device manger setting) to the vendor driver mode?
Show Lesshello,
i ordered CY4609 kit. i installed driver and blaster plus tool. after i connect hub to the host by cable, i am not able to see MTT HUB in device manager however the hub is capable to data transfer and charging . please help how can i configure this board.
Show LessDear All.
We made evaluation board using CY7C65634-28LTXC. USB 2 devices connected to DS ports directly.
DS port devices were high speed devices. The HUB has been recognized as a device. but one device of DS ports was not recognized to device manager.
We had swapped DS1 and DS2 after cutting DP,DM line. then, It was changed to result.
DS1 - detect / DS2 - not detect ----swap DS1 and DS2 ----> DS1 - not detect / DS2 - detect
Original DS2 port device has connected to HX3 EVK DS1 via jumper wire. then It was recognized on HX3 HUB DS device.
What is a problem? What should we check for solve?
Regards.
Show LessQue: 1 when cascading two hubs can we keep address of EEPROM connected with each hub same or different, host software (blaster plus tool) can access both EEPROM for configuration with same EEPROM address?
Que: 2 We are cascading 9 hubs and using 9 EEPROMs for their configuration can we individually access and configure these EEPROM by using blaster plus tool?

i am using multiple CYUSB3324 in cascading. For an example if i am using 2 HUBs in cascade, in this cascading 2nd hub's upstream is connected to the downstream of first hub and first hub is connected to HOST. if my 2nd HUB goes in to the suspend state then will it also effect the 1st hub ? will first hub also go in to the suspend state ?
Show LessI am using CYUSB3324 hub. if i disable pin-strapping (not using pin-strapping configuration), only using ''EEPROM'' for configuration, so in this case i don't connect pull up and pull down resistor to GPIOs. i only want to use GPIOs for LED. Now in this particular situation these LED GPIOs are active low or active high?
Show Lessi am using CYUSB3324 for 25-port USB HUB system.here DS-1 and DS-2 of a cyusb3324 hub is connected to upstream ports of another two cyusb3324 HUBs and DS-3 is connected to controller (permanently connected) and at DS-4 peripheral USB device is connected for the users, so now for pin-strapping configuration how can i connect pin-6,5 (NON_REMOVABLE[1:0]) in pull-down or in pull-up mode ?
Show LessI am using CYUSB3324 for a USB HUB System. I want to connect some pin (pin number-85,64,43 ) for pin strapping but i don't know what is the actual significance of these pins for pin-strapping (VID[2:0])? how can i put these pins to pull up or pull down for a default configuration, i can't figure it out ?
