I have a developed product.  Things have been working great over 1000 hubs made.  We started a new reel of  chips some work and others do not.  The ones that work are identified by the HOST and all 4 down stream ports work.  The chips that do not work, nothing happens on the host side.  Normally with USB we get a not recognized device.  Is the ROM different with some chips.  We have an EEPROM but not using it.  The ones that work do not need the EEPROM, my understanding is it is using the ROM defaults.  Could we have bought incorrect parts.  The chips show CY7C65632-28LTXC on the package.  Can the ROM defaults be different with the same part number.

I'm recently bought HX3 DVK, CY4609 and trying to get some hands-on.

I'm using Dell laptop with windows10 OS . I've installed HX3 Blaster Plus application and performed steps listed in section "3.3 Procedure to Run HX3 Blaster Plus " in Configuration utility user guide document.

This is what I'm seeing in my device manager after performing steps:

If you can see there is a warning symbol on Cypress HX3 vendor mode device due to which there is no enumeration of HX3 in Blaster plus application.

I tried listed resolution in this query- https://community.cypress.com/t5/USB-Hosts-Hubs-Transceivers/Can-not-connect-I2C-EEPROM/td-p/99797 but unable to resolve issue. I restarted laptop and tried aswell but of no use.

I'm getting below error in device manager :

Can someone help me resolve this issue ?

We designed a HUB using the CY7C65632. We use it as self-powered. Our problem is that the HUB is not detected by the host. To clarify the problem, some of our observations are:

We use the power-on reset circuit recommended in the datasheet, but the reset voltage that should rise to 4.2V seems to be 2.2V here. When we pull it to 3.3V and save it from reset, the HUB is recognized. But the devices we connect to the hub are not recognized. We are getting an enumeration failed error.

We cannot see 3.3V at the internal regulator output, we get 3.9V-4.2V. If the HUB is detected, the regulator voltage is 3.9V. If the HUB is not detected, regulator output is 4.2V. In both cases we don't get 3.3V. What could be the reason for this?

We see 12 Mhz oscillation in our crystal output, but a DC offset seems to be superimposed on this wave and thus the level of the oscillation exceeds 3.8V. Could this be due to the crystal capacitors not being placed close enough to the corresponding pins? Or why else might we be seeing this offset?

i use the cy7c67200 (EZ-OTG) on a fpga (Altera DE2-115). Ive recreated the enumeration process by using the "Using HPI in Coprocessor mode with OTG-Host -AN6010" document and the DE2_115_NIOS_HOST_MOUSE_VGA example provided by altera.

The device i want to communicate with functions as a cdc device class. Therefore communication is realized over Bulk Enpoints for each direction. The Endpoints support 64 byte max packet size

When i craft a In  Bulk Request, i get data which can read, and which makes sense, like so:

TD  (At 0x500)

base_addr: 0x518

port_length: 0x0040

pid_ep: 0x95

dev_addr: 0x2

ctrl_reg: 0x41

status: 0x0

retry_cnt: 0x1b

residue: 0x0

But when i want issue a Bulk Out nothing happens:

With my data to be written at address 0x50c

The active byte in the retry count changes to 0 but nothing more.

My question: Is there an example which shows other transfer types besides the control transfer and bulk in.

Is there any documentation or application note which shows how this is handled by the bios on the cy7c67200.

I have some questions about the pin strap-related for CYUSB3326-88LTXI.

If I configure the PIN STRAPT:63PIN as “No pin strapping : 0 ”

• I don’t want to use Pin 30,31,2 and 84, do I should leave them or connect them to ground ?
• With the non-removable configuration : pin5, 6 , I want to set them up for that whole DS ports like DS1, DS2, DS3 and DS4 are non-removable. I wondering that is possible to do it and if not, would like you to tell me how to do it.

Base on thermal resistance Theta ja= Theta jc+ Theta ca

So basically Theta Ja should be big than Theta Jc.

But we had find some of datasheet show Theta Jc big then Theta Ja.

Could you explain why these Theta Ja is small then Theta Jc?

We know CY7C65632LT&CY7C65634 27pin(QFN) have to connect to 5V when use external regulator ,  But we need  a second source for GL850-OHY50, Can we connect CY7C65632LT&CY7C65634 of pin 28 and pin 27 to 3.3V for normal work , Thank !!

I am using CYUSB3324 for my project. I have cascaded two HUBs, both VBUS_US are connected to local +5v supply. When powered on and first tier hub has upstream disconnected, I noticed that the enable signal (USB1_DS3_CDP_EN) on HUB is active ( LOW) only for the first tier HUB. there is no overcurrent condition for both HUBs. The enable signal (USB2_DS3_CDP_EN) for second tier HUB becomes active when and when only the upstream of first tier HUB is connected to  PC.

I require that the HUBs to provide active signal at power on so they can be used for charging my phone irrespective of connection to upstream.

so please look in to this issue . Here I am attaching snaps also.
